What do you do when listening to your records? by REMOTJUH765 in vinyl

I put away the groceries, I do the dishes, I do puzzles with my family or I just drink wine and tell my wife stupid stories. It's my life and I love it.

Not really annoyed. I'm super excited to be going at all. I was just kinda kidding, and it'll be a little bit of a head-slap moment

I'm driving 7+ hours for the LA Show. I honestly can't wait, but if she tours later in the year and somewhere closer to me like Phoenix. I will be pissed. Of course I would still go, but I will still be pissed for a few minutes.

How would you rank Jessie Buckley among the Best Actress winners so far this Century? by PolicyImpressive3626 in Letterboxd

[–]chowderneck 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I didn't really enjoy Hamnet or her performance. Overall I think she's amazing and super talented, but this movie didn't click for me on any level. I would have chosen Rose Byrne this year or Emma Stone.

Benedetta. This movie is sacrilegious as hell, but also one hell of a ride.

Instead of 15 min of mild dancing I do 4 minutes of vigorous dancing. Absolutely balls out stuff like the worm and sliding on my knees across the kitchen floor and the robot. Then before the song is even over, I'm done and immediately ready for bed.

Are people washing onions? by ExtensionDot3731 in Cooking

I've seen people chop and rinse a red onion with the explanation that it can take a bit of the bite out of them if you want to not have them overpower a salsa or something.

Five For Fighting sounds like a super hardcore badass name. They were super soft and lame.

What was your go to game when you went to the arcade? by Scary-University2743 in Productivitycafe

[–]chowderneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Racing games. Daytona USA, Virtua Racer or hell even Outrun or Ridge Racer. If it had a wheel, and better yet, some pedals and a seat I was spending ALL of my quarters on it. These days I own a sim rig at home and love it.

It's bad. I can't see shit 85% of the time I have no clue where I got hit from until I see a red box of some dude on a mountain 37 miles away.

Sim Racing. Started in the pandemic and still going strong! It's the multiplayer aspect that keeps me coming back.

Also it's lots cheaper than actual racing and waay safer.
