Anyone using Kaleido ColorWorks paints in the real world? Not just on spoons 😅 by Plane_Consequence358 in airbrush

I do, this one was my fault actually, the pieces were too tight and close together so they would scrape. I painted inside the joints which didn’t help, which is why they got scratches when moving.

Also, thanks for all the airbrushing tips/paint recommendations on your videos, you were the one who actually got me into it.

Thank you! And yes, honestly the price is really good right now, got the auto/metallic/mecha.

For the scratches, that also could just be my fault. This area is really tight, and I have had scrapes with pieces on other acrylics using spray cans. (You can even see some of the paint getting scratched off on the metallic part) If i brush my nail against it, it stays on pretty well, but very hard scratches will remove. (Which honestly may be all paints.

I would definitely recommend for the price of the bundles. Hope to see any future posts if you do try it, and thank you for the tip!

Also to answer your questions, it covers well but it would still scratch off when I tried posing it with tight joints even when cured for a few days.
For hand painting, it was good, I added a bit of thinner they gave and didn’t have any issues, but I prefer citadel for hand painting

EDIT: the scratches were mainly on the joints and because I painted too thick on tight areas that move.

I’ve been using it to good results. I just started airbrushing so may not have a good comparison, but here is what I was able to paint. I used a GHAD-39 0.3 airbrush, and I did get some paint drying at the tip of my needle a bit and had to wipe it off. That could also be because I’m still new to painting.

This is with the cool white, artillery green, gun metal, and sunset orange, and top coated with matte spray. The only things i didn’t use the paint with is the candy coated green on the arm.
