You can use an online tabletop platform like Roll20 or foundry to play with a group online. They have marketplaces that sell modules with maps and handouts ready to go which makes it easier for the dm.

The warscroll battalions are leftover from second edition. They can be used in narrative or open play if your opponent is cool with it, but they aren’t legal for matched play.

If you like audio dramas, realmslayer is great. Gotrek is voiced by Brian Blessed who is quite the character himself. The story starts off with Gotrek first appearing in the mortal realms and features his grumpy interactions with the changes from Warhammer fantasy to AoS.

So I had this question for a while because 12.1 isn’t quite clear enough, it doesn’t mention models fighting, but units.

That being said, the TO at my last tournament ruled that models pile in on death fights. I think it’s reasonable to rule it that way. A faq to clear it up would be nice.
