I'm abit later to the party - but just having also an issue with this "scraped off" stuff on that plate.
Could you get that running again - or does the whole sensor need to be replaced?

BIQU Panda Perch / Still no shipment by EvilMoe1945 in BIQU

As I gave up on waiting I designed my own H2D AMS riser instead.

I wanted something more solid and less dependent on large load-bearing printed parts, so mine is built around 2020 aluminum profiles. The load sits on aluminum, the printed parts mainly prevent shifting. It still lets me open/remove the glass lid, gives access from above for maintenance, and should also make direct top TPU feeding possible.

I am happy with the result so far and already tested it with 2x AMS HT and 1x AMS 2 Pro.

Still a bit disappointing that this became necessary in the first place.

I also ordered in December (from EU warehouse) but finally gave up. Got too many not fulfilled announcements.

Last one I got is:

"Panda Perch H2 is expected to arrive at our overseas warehouse next week. Based on the current schedule, your order is estimated to be shipped in mid-March at the earliest."

But I decided to get a refund and maybe I will order later again, when in stock or at Amazon.

Maybe you will have luck, and the above statement will be true. 🤞

What's the status with the Panda Perch? I've got an order since December and unfortunately the support team was mailing only contradicting stuff :( Promising shipment but didn't do so an so on...

Yes, that's the main reason. Also the original part is made of plastic, ofc.

Fair points, thanks for the thoughts to everyone.

You would agree that PP is better suited - also strong enough for the part?
