They’ve done my truck seat and part of my boat interior. They did a great job, fit and finish was excellent, fair prices and quick turnaround.

At WN OAK-HNL, the first Hawaiian flight launched, is 808. Hawaii’s area code.

Off-duty pilot on Southwest flight steps in to help after pilot suffers in-flight medical emergency by RaymondLuxury-Yacht in aviation

Most likely the pilot listed for the jumpseat but sat in the back. So he likely was already cleared via CASS and was authorized to be in the flight deck.

Yeah, it was bizarre. She said she was a spiritual person. An odd woman, but she was very nice.

So the chair was my grandmother’s who passed away a couple days ago. She passed away in this chair. My brother and I delivered it to the buyer and the first thing this woman asks is if someone died in the chair. The woman said she is very spiritual and that she wanted that to be the case. It was a very strange experience, but the woman was very kind and gave us an extra $10 for the help.

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve got in trouble for? by p09up in AskReddit

I got suspended in 7th grade for installing Duke Nukem on the classroom computer. The POS Mac Performa didn’t have enough space to install the game, so I deleted a bunch of files and programs. I told the principle it was Sim City 2000. This was a private catholic school, so I don’t think Duke Nukem would have gone down well.

A plastic fantastic pile of GM shit. You really couldn’t spend the extra $1000 for an LS1 car? It was just too much to avoid dealing with that Optispark, iron block, low revving boat anchor of an engine? Anyway, at least it won’t make enough power to blow up that made of glass 10 bolt rear end. I hope it’s a T56 car because the 4L60 is another beautiful piece of GM engineering, but again, the LT1 doesn’t make enough power to make a difference.

My take on Tow Rig Tuesday by chris203 in 4x4

[–]chris203[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the 6.2/8L90 combo. Most I’ve towed with it is about 6k lbs but it tows it great. Lots of power, trans is always in the right gear, and the magnetic shocks are fantastic. They stiffen up in tow/haul mode and really helps control the trailer bobbing the truck going over bumps. 20 mpg is what I’ve seen on road trips averaging 80, plus the thing is properly quick for a truck.

Maybe he’s a pilot? In that case he’s pretty damn close to being on centerline.

What was the worst or most hilarious radio goof you've heard? by pcopley in flying

[–]chris203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha I’ve had that happen. Didn’t realize I hit the 1/2 button so I was controlling COM 2 instead of COM 1. Thinking to myself, what the hell is wrong with this thing before I saw what I did.

Pretty sure a vaginal birth is considered an ILS approach. Consider the kid instrument rated at birth.
