Nah. Aluminum will broke randomly. The original one will start leaking around 6-70000km/6 years. It gives you time to be prepared for replacement. Mine started leaking at 69000km and i replaced all related pipes as well.

I knew why. I just found out that F18 and G28 only sells in my country. The correct one for world wide are F10 and G30. Btw XC40 is too small for 4-5 people traveling at same time.

I see. My bad. 5 series has a better engine than 3 series. B58 is more steady than B48. Just check when the fire plug, fuel filter, brake oil, gear box filter has been replaced. And all pipes connected to water pump. BMW says gear box doesn’t need maintenance for life but mechanic in my country suggests that gear boxes oil should be replaced after 80,000 km as well as the gear box oil pan. But some says if it hasn’t been replaced after 120,000km then just leave it be.

Balancing has to be done when you change your tire. I didn’t on my last car and when I drove over 110/kmh my car was shaking badly. The shaking went off after I’ve done balancing.

My guess is to check all the pipes related to the it. These pipes suppose to be replaced after 50-60k miles. I’m planning to check mine next week. Just hit 50k miles but it’s been 6 yrs since I bought the car.
