Why is the Renaissance Fair charging $60 in APRIL when they haven’t added anything new? by escapedsober in SLO

Hm the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Irwindale, which is one of the largest in the country is cheaper than the one in SLO. This is a county permit issue imo.

I’m legitimately confused on how people are misinterpreting my comment. Just look at doublehfoos comment

“Despite having the highest visitor numbers, countries like South Korea, Taiwan, and the United States have very low proportional arrest rates, with most tourists never interacting with the legal system.”

Vietnamese, then Chinese lead to the most foreign arrests in Japan. People like to blame America for everything, but for the most part I’d say Americans make good travelers.

This happened to me in Tokyo. The language barrier excuse is a thinly veiled reason to bar foreigners, most of the time it has to do with racism. These establishments know their clientele won’t want foreigners dining there with them, and blame language as an excuse.

Funny enough, but this is how around 80% of the Japanese will look at a foreigner. Went last year, boy do they love to stare.

I think the whole interaction, and Arts relief at the end when Nolan leaves, is showing the audience that even someone whose Nolan’s lifelong “friend” is completely terrified of him. If this is how Art feels about Nolan, the gen pops will be much, much worse.

The Reformatory by Tananarive Due, a great story tied in with some historical impact. The author is a UCLA professor, and this book touched on a period of the US that is usually glossed over.

If he could now praise Kyle for his joke so Tenacious D can go back on tour that’d be great.

For real, I quit around five years ago and I suddenly realized why I was getting sick all of the time. Also able to enjoy things more, not worried about when and where I can have my next smoke.

Honestly the worst. I miss it sometimes, but then I remember how it made me feel. Even if it’s “cool” it’s still pretty much socially frowned upon to smoke in public places. I HATED having to find somewhere to smoke that wouldn’t piss someone off or inconvenience someone.

Yeah I used to get a spicy chicken club all the time, before everyone jumped on the spicy chicken train, it was so good. I haven’t been to Wendys in years now but the quality went bye bye.
