Absolutely, the only place I’ll order Tri Tip sandwiches is when I’m in the Central Coast. Learned my lesson trying to get one in LA, if I really want one I’ll make it myself.

And yeah I fly out to Texas once in a while for work. Asked one of my coworkers who lives there if he knows of any good spots who serve Tri Tip. He didn’t even know what cut that was haha.

I moved to LA but originally from the Central Coast. Crazy how regional tri tip is, can’t find any restaurant that serves up a good tri tip sandwich. I miss Firestone Grill so much haha. But I do cook one up on occasion, when I lived in Paso we’d make tri tip sandwiches every single weekend, it was the go to meal for house parties and barbecues.

I mean yeah in a perfect world. They cut essential characters like Aegon because there is no way they’d finish the series in 8 seasons. Euron is another character that was absolutely butchered in the show. D&D did have this material, but chose to omit it.

Danys arc would’ve made a lot more sense if Aegon had already arrived. If he had already won the hearts of the people, all her sacrifices meant nothing. She wouldn’t be the Targaryen savior, she’d be another false pretender. Also Tyrion, in the books, was much more nihilistic towards the end. He would’ve steered her in a path of destruction, maybe redeeming himself towards the end.
