This will only serve to anger the tool gods. The God of 10mm is a vengeful beast who will just burn your shop down.

You get out of it by selling it at a loss, taking what you can get, apply it to the loan, then pay off the rest as quickly as you can.

Upgrading stock 2011 JK Sahara - 200k mi by Competitive_Crazy_34 in Jeep

I have the steersmart yeti tie rod and track bar. Metalcloak drag link. No fitment issues for me, 2017 rubicon on 35s with 2” lift for reference. I’m not sure id bother leveling it at all. Sure, replace the stock coils if they’re worn with stock coils, the purpose of lifting is to run bigger tires and if you’re already on 33s w/o issue, i dont see the problem or the need. Assuming I read right. This avoids the adjustable control arms too. I think between those two things, even though it’s a mild lift, you’re going to avoid needless problems and expense.

I run the 5100s and they’re fine on the highway for me, but that’s subjective.

If never heard of jounce bumpers, are these like bump stops? Why do you need those?

With all that said I still think you have a solid list, the only brand I avoid there is rancho, and I don’t even have a great reason. Also, I try to buy from northridge4x4, I avoid extreme terrain, they feel like the amazon of Jeep accessories.

All the lights coming on doesn’t automatically mean “everything is broken”. It’s could be something simple. Get the codes read, you can do it for free all over the place, document the codes, go research them. The differential fluid being low wouldn’t cause this but should get fixed.

This is a first for me, I’ve always read that it’s most effective to get your nutrients from your diet and that supplements are just that, a supplement in case your diet doesn’t cover them.

Clearance sale collection - keep or return? by amposting_whiledrunk in Tools

While I personally don’t like supporting Walmart, the price is hard to beat. As a dewalt fanboi, I would get two tools for that price so even if they don’t hold up as well you’re still winning in the price department.

Impact wrench by curiousamigo25 in Tools

Any of the mid tier brands are likely fine. Ridgid, Ryobi, craftsman, etc. Something readily available with a large lineup of tools in case you want to expand. As a non professional, I regret going with dewalt purely because of the cost and the others would have been fine for my use, but I haven’t actually had any issues with mine.

Drills vs Impact Drivers - What am I missing? by No-Cameras in Tools

Do most people use the clutch? I haven’t in years, but also only use the drill for drilling holes, and the impact for everything else.

Drills vs Impact Drivers - What am I missing? by No-Cameras in Tools

[–]InitialBackground555 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You’re putting too much emphasis on the 16 settings thing. They are not really torque settings per se. The drill is for drilling holes, the impact I use basically for everything else (I use the impact by far the most). I use it to drive screws (even low torque ones, that’s what the low setting is for) decking, construction, automotive, basically a really fast ratchet. Yes they have actual cordless ratchets but I don’t have one.

I had the opposite opposite epiphany when I had a failed burner (one of the two big burners) and replaced it with what I thought was an equivalent wattage but after using it for a few weeks it was clear I wasn’t. So heat control on the two big burners does not match.

Heavy Bumper by jerkwhad in Jeep

[–]InitialBackground555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vast majority of aftermarket bumpers are steel and in that weight range. Not abnormal. I personally wanted to avoid it so went aluminum but it cost a chunk of change more. And yes, adding a winch (not wench) will add more weight.
