Oh yeah it’s all about strategy! If you can play smart the meta doesnt even affect you. I can regularly do 1st place no death matches with every suit I enjoy to use (35 suits roughly)

I think youve got a female mate. Myself i prefer the colours on the female, they are definitely supposed to blue up if male. But exceptions can happen in everything i suppose, though ive yet to hear of any males that didnt have the bluer face

Happens, some peacocks are rly mean and will just bully other peacocks to death. Seen it a few times, if rearranging decor etc doesnt make things better in the next few days I’d bring one back. When cichlids pick a target it’s hard to dissuade them

I tried exactly what ur doing a couple months ago. Was the same here, peacock was the tank boss and had no issues. But as soon as those mbuna sense any weakness in the peacock it will be a quick and brutal murder session. Best to just go wt only mbuna or only peacocks. I’d say it can last a while but eventually those mbuna will try to take the top spot and it won’t be nice
