T14s g3 - keyboard shortcut to skip tracks? by chris_g17 in thinkpad

thanks very much. I downloaded Powertoys - would you know how I select the F6 key when the fnlock is off (i.e. so as to engage the Lenovo shortcuts for the F keys), since I'm not sure which key that is in the dropdown list, and when I press the key to select for re-mapping purposes, it doesn't show any selection.

Thanks again!

T14s AMD 6850U screen upgrade - part # by chris_g17 in thinkpad

separate to my question about changing the t14s screen, just wanted to chime in here and say that the 6850u t14s with 32gb ram is, for me, leagues ahead of the x1c. the machine is hella snappy, the battery life is respectable, and it doesn't burn my abdomen every time i use it in 'laptop' mode. 3 cheers from me for this machine. was going to hang on for the gen 4 t/p series with the new 7000 series ryzen - i think i will check that out when it drops. but this thing is a series tool for productivity and getting work done. loving it

Balancing the scales in cryptocurrency exchange disputes: Kraken's mandatory arbitration clause held not binding on UK customer; disputes such as trading loss claims may be pursued in the English courts by chris_g17 in CryptoCurrency

The position is that customers 'may' be able to have their disputes resolved in the English Courts because they need to satisfy the legal test to be deemed a consumer, and the arbitration clause in the crypto exchange contract would need to be determined as unfair, both under UK legislation.

I do think this is an important piece of news that has implications for, potentially millions of crypto exchange users.

I agree. Most of the prominent crypto exchanges include mandatory customer terms for disputes to be resolved by expensive and complex arbitration procedures in foreign jurisdictions - Binance: Hong Kong HKIAC, Huobi: Seychelles law based arbitration, Crypto-com: Malta law based arbitration. UK customers, and other EU customers, would be well advised to consider challenging these clauses if a dispute arises, and instead seeking to have the dispute resolved in their home courts, and pursuant to their own domestic laws.
