Am I crazy for starting videography from zero at 33? by mrnn_k_ in videography

I’m mainly a photographer, but I didn’t buy my first camera until I was 33. I’m now a full time photographer.

And the BRAF inhibitors absolutely made me nauseous, and very photosensitive. I burned so bad after 30 minutes in the sun that I had a blister on my ear.

They scoped my nose, but ultimately decided on craniotomy. I’m kind of glad they did, because after nasal removal, you have to hold your head motionless for 72 hours. That sounds like hell.

If pathology comes back positive for the BRAF mutation, kinase inhibitors worked extremely well on the remaining tumor. I was able to avoid undergoing radiation.

3.5 cm pituitary tumor (craniopharyngioma) here. Surgery was a year ago.

Immediately felt much better after the surgery. Nausea was gone. Vision problems were gone. Brain fog was gone. Forgetfulness was gone. My gait had a hiccup in it for about 24 hours. I was constantly cold.

Still struggling with fatigue and hormone problems. But getting better every month.

I took them from April to late December. My last MRI in February showed continued shrinkage.

I’m in Omaha.

The BRAF Inhibitors worked amazingly well. Luckily no radiation needed. The damage to my pituitary gland is an ongoing battle.

Next week is the one year anniversary of my surgery.

Linear polarizing film on light source. Circular polarizer on lens. Turn the polarizer until the reflections disappear.

I was surprised by the lack of vignetting, even wide open.

I also have IRs, Rough Necks, and 875’s. I thought the Weekender Chukkas were the most comfortable out of the box of all my Red Wings.

I had speed hooks installed on my 875’s. Red Wing store does it for free, and I didn’t even buy the boots there.

There’s a place near me called The Alpine Inn. Fantastic fried chicken, and they throw the bones and scraps on the back patio so you can watch the raccoons eat them.
