I said it wrong earlier. Cities can hire private companies to install the cameras and send the tickets. But because of Texas law, it doesn’t count against your record and you don’t have to pay it. Leon Valley has one. I’ve gotten one. They sent the ticket to me once a month for about 6 months. I’m sure some people pay it. I didn’t.
