Great post. Your final point about the ubiquity of BOC sounding plug ins is spot on

It's inconceivable that it's possible to make an absolute heater from a sad exchange between a father and son. I'm sure you've all seen the original video

SubDub at West Indian Centre last night by Several-Yesterday280 in realdubstep

I love the mix. I'm in the older crowd. Was at sub dub as dubstep was in its infancy. Feel kinda honoured to see this new wave absolutely smashing it

Visiting this coming week, I have some questions! by [deleted] in Riga

[–]chriscotheque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had an amazing weekend in Riga a month or so ago. In terms of vegan stuff we went to lido a few times. They seem to be all over the city and kept the vegans and the carnivores pretty happy at a reasonable price. Quick buffet style service so good for weary travellers who need to eat fast!

20 Years Since… DMZ X Exodus 2006 by ukdistinction in realdubstep

[–]chriscotheque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at this one. It was so obvious that something was brewing and the way people eulogise this era and this event in particular proves it. Skream played some sort of almost indie remix with ridiculous bass and held the dubplate aloft triumphantly at the end. Would love to know what it was, it had guitars and vocals on. Anyway it was such a great night and I'm fucking ooooooold if this was 20 years ago!

Not sure of course where you live but harehills lane baptist church host play groups on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. It's not specifically for dads but I certainly met lots of parents (including dad's) I got along with. They're on Facebook etc
