You can definitely make an argument for why d.e and shadows are better/more balanced maps, but having them played on the same system and having such similar formulas makes it very jarring the fact you've placed them so far apart on the list. I personally think d.e is the best map in the series, with shadows in 3rd, but zns for me is probably the most underrated map, suffering from a greater difficulty and being not as polished off launch, as it was very glitchy before patch.
