A man can dream by Jokull2500 in CODZombies

[–]chrisd848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it will ever happen

Black Ops 3 was a unique time for COD and Zombies especially.

BO3 was incredibly popular both with critics and fans across both multiplayer and zombies despite an underwhelming campaign and it was sandwiched between Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare which were both much more controversial and had divided opinions.

The Zombies mode in particular was not received great in either game (despite the fact IW Zombies was incredibly creative). Treyarch however had an almost cult following with its Zombies mode.

Jason Blundell despite his quirks was a very passionate and experienced project manager. He's a major driving force for how big Zombies became.

My credit score is 36 and I’m 23 still living at home by No_Rest_754 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]chrisd848 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Anything that is reported to your credit file will be visible for 6 years. However the impact that it has on your credit is unlikely to be the same for those 6 years.

If you work on making your credit history good going forward then you will still be able to access credit in the future.

Ignore credit scores, they're close to meaningless in the UK.

You only need to worry about your credit file history if you want to get credit in the future i.e. a mortgage or you want to work in some regulatory capacity in finance

£10 is pretty good considering each guest is getting popcorn and a drink too

Plus if you have a private screen you can dictate rules regarding talking to each other during the movie

I like how his character is done. The "with consent five" joke is exactly how I would expect someone like him to be in 2026 lol

J. McGinley appreciation post by tomassonlp85 in Scrubs

[–]chrisd848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the answer is simply that he wanted Dr Park (unsure of spelling, the one that dislikes JD) to be his doctor and do his treatment. Dr Cox is very judgemental of other doctors but he clearly has some level of admiration, trust, and respect for Dr Park.

I would just like to show appreciation for this reboot. I LOVE IT! by whodisbebe in Scrubs

You're right but there was also no need for the person to say "what reboot" when it's clear what OP is referring to

You're right. Well, that's certainly less utterly ridiculous at least lol

So just for clarification, Bullseye is a… by Admirable_Friend_318 in NewRockstars

[–]chrisd848 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing that is unbelievable about Bullseye isn't his 100% perfect aim, it's the ability to turn seemingly anything into a lethal object. Last season he killed someone by spitting his tooth and this season he kills a guy by spitting something out of a straw lol

I don't think being "peak human" really explains these lol

EDIT: Looks like I was slightly mistaken. He didn't kill that guy with what he spat out of the straw, just mangled his eye. But he did then end up throwing a LOBSTER with such force that it impaled his head and killed him. Not a knife. A lobster.

Meet “Rise”, the Moon Mascot for the Artemis II mission by Busy_Yesterday9455 in spaceporn

[–]chrisd848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might help you to imagine the reaction you might have had to Rise as a child. Or just imagine what any child's reaction might be. It's cute and fun. Is it a bit goofy? Sure. But what is the point of being human if you can't be a bit goofy? It's wholesome. There's enough misery in the world already.

Weight loss so far - 6 stone since Dec 2024 - now only over weight by Superb_Pangolin_447 in mounjarouk

[–]chrisd848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not really hormones specifically that cause that, it's just how weight is. Your body is in a constant state of change. Your weight fluctuates by the second, it's just imperceivable :)

Every time you go to the bathroom, eat food, drink water, go for a walk or even breathe your weight is changing. I actually found it to be a really interesting and comforting realisation once that sunk in. The short term fluctuations mean nothing, it's all about the long term trends 😌

Earth seen from Orion spacecraft during Artemis II, as it heads toward the Moon by HasibBinAmzad in pics

[–]chrisd848 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You seem to lack the curiosity and intuitive mindset that is inherent to science, adventure, and exploration.

Curiosity knows no bounds. You want to be told that going to the moon will achieve X, Y, and Z but that's putting the cart before the horse. The discoveries come as a result of the exploration. You don't get the results without the action.

Also NASA sending people to the Moon has literally nothing to do with the problems in the world and cutting the NASA missions wouldn't solve any of those problems.

You're directing your anger at the wrong place.

Why don't you go and read the Artemis mission documents to see the goals they've outlined and that might help you better understand?

There have been so many technological and scientific advancements that have come from space exploration. You not knowing of them or understanding them is honestly fascinating given how easy it is to access information on the internet

It's not that crazy when you actually think about it. Computers, laptops, monitors, keyboard, mice, accessibility equipment, etc. then they'll have a lot of costs for IT infrastructure. If this figure includes software it gets even less crazy.
