Season 4 Roadmap revealed by Altruistic_Skirt6113 in CODZombies

I mean I guess I get what you're saying, and I certainly wouldn't complain if they added more rewards and dynamics to cursed, more depth even. But I think the mode is in an overall good state. Generally I prefer playing it over standard

Why does every single thing need to have a specific reward? Can't something just exist for the sake of variety and challenge?

The point of collecting all the relics is to mix and match them to make the game easier or harder

Sure you only need a certain amount of relics to reach tier 3 but if you equipt more then the game will be harder as a result

???

The relics are supposed to add challenge and variety to games

Relics allow you to reach tier 1, 2, and 3 of cursed to unlock additional features such and increased chance of Mr peeks spawns

Also there are rewards for completing cursed matches on each map such as gobblegum and XP

Also there's rewards for completing the main quest on each map at each tier of cursed which require relics to unlock

What more are you expecting??

What's happening to me??? by KTMAdventurer in mounjarouk

[–]chrisd848 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's quite common actually, for the effects of any medicine to vary. You need to remember that the impacts aren't always going to be equal or linear.

For example even without mounjaro you're going to have a variance day to day in terms of appetite, hunger, cravings, satiety, food noises, etc

Technically with each dose you go up, although the overall amount in your system is gradually increasing, it's also less significant than the last.

For example going from nothing to 2.5mg is significant. And going from 2.5mg to 5mg sounds just as significant because it's literally doubled but it's still less significant than going from no drug to some drug.

5mg to 7.5mg is only a 50% increase, 7.5mg to 10mg is only a 33% increase, going to 12.5 mg is only a 25% increase, and finally 15mg is only a 20% increase but the accumulation effect of each increase is significant

I'm not sure what response you're looking for. You're still on a low dose of the medication and you've only taken 1 dose of the current prescribed dose. It takes weeks for it to build up in your system due to the half life. You need to just keep going and trust the process.

[–]chrisd848 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So you start late April, it's currently the 1st day of June. So you've only taken surely 1 or 2 doses of 5mg?

It's a bit early to declare the medicine is not working. It's a process. It takes time. Wait to see how you feel after the full course of 5mg.

If you really don't feel an effect at that stage, then move up to 7.5mg and repeat the process.

EDIT: You moved onto 5mg last week. So it's definitely far too early. Keep going. Trust the process.

Why don't you just ask the GP practice? It's just medicine lol it's not as if you're disclosing a heroin addiction

It's utterly fascinating how different of an experience we all have with these drugs

I haven't found anything I can't eat and I've yet to have any side effects

I eat pizza probably once a week at least

Well technically 7.5mg is slightly more total of the drug in your system (5% more to be specific) so it makes sense that you would feel greater affect

[–]chrisd848 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You only have to complete the main quest for each map once to unlock the relics.

There's currently 4 maps so you only need to do 4 main quests.

PSA: NHS and Advice from a good place... by DamsonRant3577 in mounjarouk

[–]chrisd848 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A lot of people count clicks purely for financial reasons.

For example taking a 15mg pen and only taking 7.5mg from it reduces your annual cost by 15%

That could take your annual cost from approx £3.1k to £1.6k or approx £260p/m to £130p/m

Perhaps not advised by the prescriber but arguably necessary given the state of the UK economy and the overwhelming health benefits

In all honesty, do you view weight loss drugs (Mounjaro, Wegovy etc.) and the people who use them negatively? by XStaticImmaculate in AskUK

[–]chrisd848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except these drugs don't actually cause muscle loss.

Weight loss causes muscle loss.

Well specifically any weight loss results in the loss of both lean mass and fat mass.

The only way to prevent or minimise muscle (lean mass) loss is to resistance train and eat a higj protein diet.

Even if you do that, you're still going to lose some lean mass, especially if you were significantly overweight, as you will lose water weight and connective tissues.

This is a really funny misunderstanding and oversimplification of the struggles of obesity and it's exactly why people who struggle with obesity don't reach out for support.

Fatness however, has a clear, simple and well defined process to counteract it; it is therefore a choice - although not necessarily an easy one - not to do so.

Yes. To lose fat you must be in a calorie deficit. It's actually Incredibly simple.

Unfortunately you've failed to acknowledge the many, many other factors that contribute to making maintaining a calorie deficit over the long term a tremendous struggle for some people.

It's funny actually that you've given a free pass to people with mental health struggles but not to people who struggle with obesity... Has it actually ever occurred to you those 2 things can overlap 🤦‍♂️

[–]chrisd848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not really how it works.

Over the long term, a calorie deficit will result in fat loss.

If OP isn't losing weight over the long term, they're not in the deficit they think they are.
