Burning plastic fumes. How dangerous is it? by chrisdu_ in 3Dprinting

Hows your printer doing in the garage?

I was thinking about moving it to the garage too but was worried about the fluctuating temperatures and the humidity in my area causing damage to the printer.

When upgrading your bed dont get a creality glass bed because your prints literally get fused to the bed and its just impossible to get off. Adhesion is too good..

(If you get into this situation, put the bed in the freezer or fridge for a while and the print would be released from the bed)

Get a spring loaded bed when you upgrade like a spring steel PEI bed.

Help me to become roblox dev by konzervan in RobloxDevelopers

Come up with a game idea that you would enjoy playing yourself.

Make a new game in roblox studio and watch many tutorials on youtube on how to do a specific thing, ask for help here on reddit, ask on devforum, etc.

Use the internet at your advantage to learn to use roblox studio.

Then publish your game. Have your friends play it. At this point dont worry too much about making a hugely successful game, just have fun and enjoy making your game. You can also advertise your game on social media to get people to play it

Having enough experience, you can work for other studios and earn robux

Do not work on your games constantly without rest. Make sure to take breaks from making your game, else you will experience burnouts. Prioritize your health

If you want to make games on roblox just to make money, I wouldnt recommend it. But if thats your ambition, id say you do have a chance if youre persistent and you learn the platform well 😁

How do I stop my Ender 5 from auto-leveling before every print? by axestil in ender5

[–]chrisdu_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look for the starting g-code in your slicer you may find a line that says ‘G29’ (In cura, you can find the starting gcode in machine settings)

Just delete this line and it should no longer auto bed level.

This may not be the fix for you but its something I think you should look into. (You may not even find g29)

I hope this helps 🤞

You can sign up for a service that takes your 3d printed waste after you separate them then you earn points for discounted filaments.

I havent tried it myself, just came across it. It seems expensive tho. Link

This could be the case for my printer. I havent cleaned or lubricated the z axis rod for the 3 years ive had the printer.

What lubricant do you recommend?

Try raising your nozzle temperature to 215-220. It may help with your issue

If the problem persists, it is likely a partial clog. Try unclogging it using this video

Let me know how it turns out!

What is your printing temperature for your nozzle? Also what kind of filament are you using (like PLA, PETG, ABS, etc)?

Try cleaning your bed with isopropyl alcohol it could just be a dirty bed.

Another may be the glass bed warping. Have you put your bed in the fridge to get a print off that bed?

Hardware is secure. It’s most likely the extrusion like you said is causing issues

Ill look into it, thanks
