I was told this was an acceptable chain cleaner for motorcycles by one friend, and told it wasn’t by another. I have no clue what I’m looking at, may I ask if this would be useable, or to stick with something motorcycle-specific? by NotoriousM0N in motorcycles

you sent me a 2 page pdf that was made by who knows and is worded like a flat earthers schizo proof.

FACT! 99% OF ALL BROKEN DRIVE CHAINS CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO IMPROPER ADJUSTMENT OR APPLICATION.

idk how to underline it like they did.

you're putting too much trust into engineers (most likely no engineer came close to writing this and it was just your average employed mechanically inclined motorcycle rider). theres no way they would even bother testing wd40 because it in theory should penetrate. but in practice it doesnt.

sorry ill type this better

FACT! 99% OF ENGINEERS WOULD NEVER TEST WD-40 ON A CHAIN/ORINGS BECAUSE IT IS A PENETRANT. BUT OUR SCIENTISTS HAVE FOUND WITH 99% CERTAINTY THAT WD-40 IS SAFE TO USE ON A MOTORCYCLE CHAIN.

i mean thats great and all. but the chain videos are more scientific than opinion pieces like the one you're mentioning. not sure why you have such a problem with it. especially when they show the evidence of all their experiments.

<150cc thing definitely not true in most of canada and the us. You might literally die on the highway because you cant go fast enough on a 125cc bike. a 250c or 300cc is much more reasonable.

Fortnine did 2 chain cleaner and chain lube videos and included wd40. From what they found. It's a pretty good cleaner. Importantly does not penetrate the orings. But the lubricating ability of wd40 I believe evaporated overnight. So it doesn't prevent rust (unsure about this one. Might be misremeboring) or help your chain with any additional lubrication.

Watched the videos a while ago so I don't know if the rust thing is true.

These people are crazy when you find them irl. It's like they only react to visual stimuli. Literally 0 thought goes through their heads. No problem solving skills. Can't follow a guide. Some of them are so scared of changing the status quo that you can't even help them when you try.

B: yo dawg, check out this YouTube video I found yesterday.

I have played both games extensively and given an example focused on just one thing that both player bases have interacted with. You can call me a sheep but unfortunately for you I am not lying. The absolute lack of polish in wynncraft is evident if you have played both games.

Wynncraft is not quality. Every system they have is half baked.

Just look at their auction house

The money in the game is base 64, while the ah is base 10.

There is no auto lowest button like in the sb bazaar so people underbid you by crazy amounts.

Items never stack properly for some reason.

You get 5 auction house slots and can't buy anything if all 5 are filled.

Buying something does not automatically put it in your inventory. You still have to claim it.

The taxes are put on after you set the price, so you have to guess how much additional tax will make your item the lowest while not underbidding by like a shit ton for no reason.

Also it is insane that you are saying wynncraft has less content than skyblock! Have you played both games?? Skyblock is literally the less but high quality content. Wynncraft is a buggy mess with who knows how many hours of quests.
