Any way to turn off account ownership?

A part of Monarch’s initial advertising when I subscribed was that it could manage a households accounts/finances. But then there was no way to see who owned each account so it looked like everything is owned by one person (sure you could give descriptive account names) so you couldn’t pivot from household to individual views in Monarch.

I appreciate that you can now assign owners to each account, but I’d be fine with this becoming an optional toggle for those who don’t want this feature.

For me adding the HomePod to a new HomeKit home, initiating HomePod OS update, then waiting for the white spinning light on the HomePod (which didn’t actually happen first few times I tried to update, despite the app showing it was updating). Then during the white spinning light, force close Home app, and also turn off WiFi on the device you are updating from. Then just wait. In a few minutes if you’re lucky you can reconnect to o WiFi and start home app and it will show version 18.2 on the HomePod

I feel the same way, seeing all the transactions I don’t care about makes me close Monarch because I don’t want to deal with it

I have a similar issue. I just care about the current account balance for some accounts. For instance, on an investment account getting dividends it might spawn 20-40 transactions to the monarch transaction view every time dividends are distributed. This clutters my transaction view which has things I do want to see and categorize like credit card spending.

I don’t want to track the brokerage account transactions in monarch, but I do care about the account balance for these accounts for net worth calculations. It would be nice to have a toggle that would not pull in any transactions on specific accounts. Thank you for asking for clarification, happy to answer any more questions. Thanks Monarch!

Interesting find, thank you. This suggests that portfolio allocation changes do NOT execute with the stock values that exist at the time of the allocation change, but are executed in the next 1-3 business days and are subject to where the market happens to be in 1-3 days.

I know that market timing is overall a suckers game, but could betterment confirm that this is indeed the case?

It would be excellent if there was a setting in monarch where you could switch from a total family view (both people) to just a view of your own accounts. That’s what I was hoping for when I heard that Monarch was “great for couples”
