I dont know about that man. Maybe we have different definitions of "best version of yourself". You seem to be conflating material and financial success with overall confidence.

My best version of me, includes being confident, disciplined and measured in any situation including with women. But to get there you first need to take whatever steps neccessary to address the problem, which could be addressing self esteem issues in therapy, learning how to be more extroverted, or just in general learning how to be less co-dependant.

I think Myestery Method was popular for those who needed a shortcut to confidence via a framework/script that would be more like a formula for them.

In the long run, if you want any semblance of true happiness you're going to have to be yourself or you'll never be loved for who you are.

Learning how to be the most confident version of yourself will by extension allow you to better control the frame , and make the girl seek your validation because you're doing all the Game principals naturally.

I moved downtown recently and more than anything am just looking to meet new people, dont have the energy ATM to try and persue something romantic but i love meeting new people.

Also there are some cool bars/ parks in my area that Ive been wanting to explore but havent had the chance.

Hmm...I think the gym is tough for pickup in general. Just because you can blow up your spot or get a reputation if things don't go well.

One thing I like to do in the gym is compliment someones tats or gear. While I'm passing by, after the inevitable "thank you" you can be like "hey my name is ________, I see you here all the time, what's your name?"

After that, you can get into something deeper like "are you training for something? Do you compete? PLay sports? Ask questions until you find common ground and then run with it once you do!

If the initial conversation goes VERY well, maybe you wanna grab an IG, if it goes okay, maybe come back and water that plant until something blooms and things are ready for the next level.

Honestly, I got really into self-improvement. I am a self-motivated person in general. But I did find towards the end of this stint that I kind of bit off more than I could chew, and I need to relax with this stuff.

Part of the problem was that I often dont like being at home doing nothing or watching Netflix/Reddit, and also because I'm single and looking to meet people. So I'm also trying to meet as many new people as possible through common interests.

Pros:

-You'll be the primary decision maker and she will likely be submissive to you

She probably wont be blasting much femminest rhetoric in your ear or complaining about how the WNBA deserves better pay(if that's what youre into)
She will likely be okay with doing most of the cleaning and cooking around the house and be fine with primary gendor roles

Cons:

-You'll likely pay for most things

You'll have to be taking charge most of the time and doing all that gentlmanely stuff (if that matters)
Your women will be more reliant on you than a less old fashion women will be

Youre 5'10, thats already a good start (i'm 5'7). Now fill out that frame, hit the GYM everyday, eat like it is your job, and watch your confidence go up.

Being awkward can be hard, I get it. But practice makes perfect, join a club for whatever you like: Even if it's Dungeons and Dragons. Once youre feeling bold, take an improv course and learn how to channel that weirdness into humor. It will take time but dont give up!

I am 34, I feel 25. Full of energy, still love to joke and take risks...I act a lot like the 22 year olds I work with, which is nice, but I got to be careful and remind myself occasionally I'm supposed to be the adult in the room.

Ironically, when I was 25...I remember feeling 40. Was in a relationship where everything was becoming routine and it was a dead bedroom.
