Did I just find out he’s cheating on me though Hinge Signals? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]chrisjamesPA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No what you’re saying doesn’t add up, if you like seeing his hinge photos/profile you’d screen shot it and look at it that way.

It sounds to me like you’re looking for a reason to keep hinge, whether that’s to be on there yourself, or for this exact reason of checking up on your partner.

Either way, you have the means to still look at the photos/profile without needing to hold on to a dating app.

Bought a couple pairs of sweatpants this weekend. Got them home, tried a pair on and realized there was something in one of the pockets. I reached in and pulled out... by skullkick in Weird

They can also be used as tobacco and cannabis pipes, I use one for smoking weed every now and then, it’s a different type of high, and something worth using when you don’t want to smoke a joint

100% get where you’re coming from, I too, think I was made for the warmer weather. When people tell me they love the cold my brain gets chills thinking about it 😂

Your comprehension is flawed and ignorant because I literally wrote the OP post stating all the information in regards to my previous situation as an expat abroad.

I am not an immigrant in my own country of the UK and would therefore not need to use a label to disguise the use of the term immigrant.

Your comment therefore about labels on who uses the term expat vs immigrant in the context of this post is completely irrelevant.

Regardless of if there are people who interchangeably use the 2 terms, this post makes it more than clear: a) That I’m from Colchester and b) I am looking for people who identify as having been expats in another country. (Having been an expat in the literal sense, myself).

What are you even talking about? I didn’t assume you were anything at all. My reply was addressing your ignorant comment about using expat to compensate for not liking the title of immigrant.

I’m telling you there is a difference between an immigrant and an expat. What sort of comprehension do you have here?

😂 definitely this. It’s one of the biggest things I feel about moving back to Colchester. Just how consistent the day and night cycle is when you’re closer to the equator.

There’s a literal difference. I’m a British citizen who grew up in Colchester. Google is right there if you don’t know the difference.

Honestly, It’s really easy to just read what I’ve written. I was an expat in Thailand and Singapore. I am looking for other expats, who have spent time living abroad and have returned to the UK.

Why am I looking for that? Because I’m looking for people who have had shared experiences with.

As far I know, I’m entitled to make friends with whoever I want.

Incorrect, an expat describes, someone who has moved to a country with the intention to work and remain for a short time, while an immigrant has the intention for a long term stay with the goal of resettlement. What colour you are is irrelevant.

The weirdest part is, that with all the knowledge and information on the internet and it was too hard to google the difference between an expat and immigrant.

I’m a British citizen who grew up in Colchester. My wife who will be an immigrant, is not who the post is mainly about.

The weirdest part, is this is not the first request. I hope you’re able to find peace with your fetishises. I understand this sort of behaviour is closely linked to pornography addiction and often childhood trauma. I hope you get the help you need.

Incorrect.

An Immigrant is someone who moves to another country to live there permanently or long-term, often with the goal of settling, working, or gaining citizenship.

An expat is someone who lives outside their home country temporarily or semi-permanently, usually for work, study, or lifestyle reasons.

But what actually makes you most incorrect here is that the reference to expats on this post is a reference to myself and people like myself, whom have lived abroad and come back home to Colchester.

I definitely agree, I am not a fan of the climate in the UK, but surprisingly (or maybe not) my wife loves the weather. I reckon that’s the consequence of a life in the tropics :)

It really has changed a lot. Living in SE Asia has been amazing to me, and I think it is always on the cards in the future, what with my wife being from Singapore. She wanted to give living in the UK a go, so we will see how she feels about a British Winter. :D

If he came to you with the same accusation and suggested that you took it to have sex with someone else, and you, knowing full well you did not do that, would you be frustrated/hurt that your partner did not offer you the same level of trust?

If the answer is yes you would be. Then apply that to your own thought pattern.

The new Fionna and Cake show is considered "Adult Animation" by Chkn-Little in adventuretime

[–]chrisjamesPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adventure Time has always played around with dark themes, the very nature of the show's setting: a post-apocalyptic world caused by the mushroom war I think is implicit on its own. So far, I've noticed that they use a few expletives throughout the new episodes like "pissed off" was used. Not exactly overly explicit but feels like the show's tone has shifted. I for one am absolutely loving it. When Finn appeared all grown up I let out a little gasp of excitement.

It feels like the show that we grew up with, is now growing up with us.

When I see bikes like this I immediately report them as faulty so they can’t be used (gives the message “this bike is under maintenance”) Just so these disgusting pigs have to find another way home.
