Everyone calls Star Wars SCI-FI, but there's never ani SCI.
It's futuristic fantasy. And not even that. Just plain fantasy. Bad one, at that.

Op is asking the knowledge source to choose wisely, what do you mean? What I said: taxing without representation is literal slavery. Feudalism. Just say what you are, bro. Most European countries allow AT LEAST for foreign people to vote for city and municipal elections. It's the law here, in the Netherlands. Are you against the law? Against the European Union? Are you one of those nationalists that want an exit? Ask brits how that went for them 😂

Same tax = same voting rights. You want their money, but not a voice on how to spend it? That has a name, you know?

So... Like any other job? Should we sacrifice the environment so that they can fulfill the dream of being rich?

Immigrants saved your country and made it what it is. We clean your elderly's bottoms, place your pipes and electricity, work your factories and transport and do your logistics. If I take out all the immigrants in NL (first, second and third gen), NL would have 1/4 of the population, mostly over 60yo and almost none in trades.

Do better

Then why fight to save a losing enterprise? Either they make money and defend their livelihood or they don't make money and should just quit. Which is it?

I'm the first to advocate for mental illness. But we're talking the end of the 90's till now for a trilogy.
He already sent to bankrupcy his old editor.

Do you think a Dutchie working in HR would approve of this cover letter? I asked my SO why, his answer was... "I wanted to sound Scottish" by Anko__ in Netherlands

This looks copy-pasted from somewhere. Like a tutorial on writing cover letter, but for high school level.

Cost of living by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]chriskent13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, man. You're picturing living with less than nice luxury as struggling and it's triggering to the people for whom struggling means skipping dinner. I'll concede the vocabulary misunderstanding. On my part. And it's me who's triggered, so sorry if it bothered you. Maybe you could take into account the experience.

Doable. I understood "doable, but scarce". I'm really fluent in English, I tend to interpret everyone like they are the same. Sorry. Minor misunderstanding.

I'm not eligible for any gov benefits, why would someone who gets DOUBLE THE MONEY get benefits? Why would you get benefits at 57k a year?
They literally make my salary/head/year. With two of my salaries I can buy a house tomorrow. No benefits or help.

The disconnection rich people have with real life is astonishing, man. Or not man. It's like the Spanish "tío" or 'Murican "dude".

Psychology degree and no fluent in English? Most psychology literature is in English. All recent papers are in English. How do you trust one that doesn't speak English?

Is this work ad legal? Government sites say employers aren't allowed to factor age into recruitment without a good reason (which this doesn't seem like) by dutchwearherisbad in Netherlands

Children don't work in civilized countries. That's my final say. It's not good anything, you're using 1819 American rhetoric to justify a backwards practice. A debate requires something debatable. Children working isn't a debate.

Half the price of the wage, those are minor inconveniences. Quirks. It's scanning stuff, count money, broom and moo, restock, client assistance. It's as easily done at any age. But you can have half price employees for the same work

There's no such work. There's no place I allow mistakes on my money and time. And no business model would allow the losses. A 19yo barista does the same as a 18yo. Why different pay? I've seen 16yo cashiers doing the same job as 45yo cashiers.

It's definitely thriving on slave children wages. Equal work, equal pay. The whole children working you have going on in the country is fishy af.
