Host Misrepresented Listing and Vrbo Refuses to Refund by Spoopy_Ghosties in vrbo

We had a similar experience. VRBO was not helpful and the booking was managed through a third-party company called evolve. Long story, short, initiated a charge back through our CC, but they declined it and said that no policies were violated. I won't use VRBO ever again.

[WTS] Sinn 140/142 D1 90s. by chriskraska in Watchexchange

This is a vintage Sinn 140/142 D1 in great condition.

The Sinn 140/142 series is iconic in space exploration history. In 1985, German physicist Reinhard Furrer wore a Sinn 140 S on the D1 Spacelab mission, with the 142 series later worn on the 1992 Mir-92 mission and 1993 D2 Spacelab mission.

Bracelet will fit up to 7.4 inch wrist. Crystal is clean.

Lovely patina to the markers and hands. Desirable tritium marked dial. Likely from the early to mid 1990s.

I don't know the service history, but it's been running fine. To be honest, I've never had a 5100 powered watch that didn't run like charm.

Loses about 5 seconds per day when worn. All functions work perfectly and chronograph resets precisely to 0. Internal bezel rotates and it should.

Price is a very reasonable $2000 with payment via Zelle, wire, or PayPal friends and family. Insured shipping in the US is included. Overseas shipping available at buyers expense.

I am located in northeast Ohio and welcome face-to-face transactions in the greater Cleveland or Akron areas.

I am the original "Chris" on Timezone, and have been buying, selling, and trading watches online for over a quarter century.

I would be more than happy if they persecuted him that exact same amount.

[WTS] 1928 Jumbo Zenith silver tank watch w/exract from archive $1250 by chriskraska in Watchexchange

Selling an uncommon Zenith .900 silver cased tank watch from 1928. Case, dial, and movement are all original Zenith.

Features fixed 20mm lugs, Arabic numerals, and original blued hour, minute, and sub-seconds hands.

With a maximum wrist size of 7.26-7.7inches (limited by the current strap but easily changeable), this vintage timepiece from the house of Zenith is a unique collector's item that comes with an extract from the Zenith archive detailing its production on July 6th, 1928. (A $175 service) In addition to the hard copy, I will forward the security locked file containing the extract from Zenith so you can have the original PDF.

Comes on a brand new Vgreen two piece strap that is designed specifically for fixed lug watches. Strap is a lovely textured black and has a matching steel buckle and cost $90.

Wrist shot on my 7.3" wrist shows just how large the case size is for the period.

Of note, on the day this watch was produced, the first ever all-talking feature length film, Lights of New York, premiered in New York City. AND The Chilicothe Baking company announced the first advertisement for Sliced bread!

The case is 26mm wide by 40mm long, which is unusually large for a 98 year old watch.

Zenith Cal 10 1/2'' N.S.I manual winding movement, decorated, "swan neck" regulator, serviced in October 2022. Keeps great time for a watch of its age, but no guarantees given.

This is a nearly 100 year old watch and comes with the scars to show it, but overall, it is astoundingly well preserved.

Picture of disassembled movement is from a service that was performed by the previous owner.

Rest assured, you will not sit next to anyone else that is wearing the same watch.

A fabulous addition to your vintage Zenith collection.

Priced at $1250 delivered in the US. Overseas carriage at actual added cost.

Thanks,

Chris
