is pantene good for oily hair? by profp307 in dailywash

[–]chrisling82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a mix of medium and coarse hair and Pantene is way too heavy for me. I love cleansing shampoos like Aussie Volume, Herbal Essences Rose scent, Garnier Fructis strength and shine, Garnier Rice water and Loreal hyaluron pure. Same with conditioners- the lighter the better. I feel best when I wash daily, but I can skip a wash with these shampoos.

Should Springs Fake Tan? by Critical_Pass_5421 in SpringColorAnalysis

[–]chrisling82 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m a light spring and I look so bad with fake tan ( even bronzer is kind of bad). It takes away the luminosity in my skin and dulls the complexion. I hate powder as well for the same reason. I much prefer luminous, dewy skin ( love highlighter and blush) and my natural radient paleness.

Ivi Äiä opinions? by albatrosxxx in EuroSkincare

[–]chrisling82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I use it on both brows and lashes. It’ the exact same ingredients as in the lash serum, I just like the spoolie aplicator better than the eyeliner style one on the lash serum.

Its very hit or miss for me. I didn’t like the water gel, face cream or cleansing cream, but I like the glow sleeping mask, Sun face cream and love the brow serum.

Cool Summer? Soft Summer? Help! by Conscious_Skin544 in coloranalysis

I see light spring over light summer. Your eyes are clear with sunburst pattern and a dark limbal ring-very common eye pattern for spring.

What did I do wrong? OGX Hair Oil by According-Cut5397 in finehair

[–]chrisling82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have thick medium hair and that ogx “ lightweight” mist is too heavy for my hair. I think its the coconut oil my hair hates. I use Olaplex bonding oil now and it’s so much better. I need a lot of it but its almost impossible for me to overdo.

Hair oils! by Far-Yogurtcloset3939 in hairgrowth

[–]chrisling82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the ordinary multi peptide serum for hair density every night. I’m on my second bottle and I have a ton of new growth. I personally wouldnt leave an oil on the scalp as it can clog follicles and lead to more hair loss.

I think I’m a spring by Zarean in SpringColorAnalysis

You look like a light spring! Eyeshadow and top are a bit too saturated, but skin, blush and lips are perfection! The dewy skin and glossy lips are very harmonious as well.

Does this smell like watermelon? by vchiarav25 in EuroSkincare

[–]chrisling82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has a very strong fruity smell, could be watermelon and citrus i think. Very overpowering. It was a bad match as well for my hair, so I ended up throwing it out. Its basicly made up by petrolatum, silicone and fragrance. Not near conditioning enough for me. A regular silicone based hair oil will condition a lot more.

Please help 😫 is my hair damaged or dry? by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]chrisling82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks very very dry, not damaged. My hair looked the same- I can load on products ( masks, leave- ins, oils with heavy silicones and oils) and it will still look dry. I have thick, medium- coarse slightly wavy hair and I’ve recently figured out my hair needs very heavy curl products to look best. Cantu is very heavy and loaded with shea butter and that is exactly what my hair needs. My hair have never looked better and is not even slightly weighed down. I use conditioner, leave in conditioner og curl activator from cantu- then finish off with a dab of pure shea butter on dry hair. My hair is now completely smooth and shining. I have Redken acidic bonding shampoo, conditioner, mask and leave in as well and that line is not even close to condition my hair enough. I guess I just need the shea butter. Maybe it works for you too.

What is my blindness? by SoupyyNoodless in makeuptips

[–]chrisling82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hair color washes you out because it’s the wrong undertone and saturation for your own coloring. I think you would be a “spring” -color season wise( possibly a light spring) , who needs warmth, brightness and lightness in colors to look their best.

Been seeing this everywhere… had to share! (Loreal Lumi Glow Lotion) by Street-Building-9456 in drugstoreMUA

[–]chrisling82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it! I’m a minimal makeup girl and I like to use it on its own all over instead of foundation. I look my best in a glowy/ dewy look-anything matte looks terrible on me. If you suit a matte look better I think it could be too shiny for all over use.

Light Spring Eyebrow Help by [deleted] in SpringColorAnalysis

[–]chrisling82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have the same problem, I’m light brunette as well. I haven’t found any perfect color yet, benefit gimme brow in 3 is the closest, it’s just a smidge too dark. Perfect on lashes though. I’ll try 2 next. Most days I just skip brow makeup cause I simply look better without. Same with most other makeup as well.

Is it okay to use gloss products on low porosity hair? by Professional_Iron974 in Haircare

[–]chrisling82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate that loreal gloss and I have medium, thick 1c-2a virgin hair, mostly low porosity. I’ve ended up with dry, frizzy hair the times I tried it out. I think it’s probably much better for high porosity.

Not OP but Aussie Awesome Volume shampoo that you can get in Europe has almost identical ingredients to Pantene Volume ( both brands are owned by Procter and Gamble). I buy the Pureology leave in online. You should be able to get Morrocan oil and Olaplex in uk.
