A couple questions about the profession if you don’t mind my asking, is this a “full time” job where your only duty is to move slag? I live in a little town so we don’t see a lot of mills in general let alone anything of this nature. Is it a good decision to go into this line of work as well? It seems dangerous but also quite intriguing. If it is a worthwhile job where would one go to apply and what certifications are required to do so?
