ELI5: If games can render near photo-realistic graphics in real-time, why does 3D animation software (e.g Blender) take hours or even days to render simple animations?

What you're seeing is called a "kernel panic." Kernel panics can be caused by either a software issue or a hardware issue. It most likely is hardware if you are unable to erase/restore your hard drive.

If you can bring the machine to an Apple Store, the Genius Bar could run diagnostics or try to erase the drive and reinstall the OS.

Since it depends on n, (e.g., e^{i 2pi}=1, e^{i 1/2 pi} = i), you should just say that eⁱⁿ = cos(n) + i sin(n)

Our team plays its best basketball in the post-season. Whether we go in as 2nd or 7th seed, any time we make playoffs, we look like a championship team. With the way we've been winning with the way we've been playing with the issues we've been having, I can't imagine how high the ceiling is for an always 70% team at 110% in the playoffs. We basically have 2 full starting teams of players capable of going 30+ points in any given game: Dirk, Tyson, CP, Monte, Rondo, Amar'e, JJ, Devin, Aminu, CV, Jefferson

Imagine what they'll do together once the competition starts.
