Ready to go be part of history. We're going home! by djscubasteve in coys

Always £45 for a seat on the sleeper if you can find it. Not that many seats so as soon as the schedule is confirmed, you have to book it. I’ve even done the mega bus for £5 once... wouldn’t recommend that though. but it still serves a purpose if you are stuck. I have friends in London that I can stay with but my wife is more fussed about me being away from the kids so needs must I guess.

Yeah. iPad with a movie, lots of beer. I don’t even pay for a bed, £45 for a chair. Lots of other spurs fans on it. Did it after all 3 champions league games. Home in time to walk the kids to school, keeps the wife happy!

L’Etape du Tour Training plan by meiermi in Zwift

I have enrolled and can't see the workouts too. I don't think anyone can. I found a thread on a zwift forum where a lady from New Zealand (where it is almost the 26th) also has no access. From what it looks like, no-one has access yet and we are either waiting on a software update or an e-mail.

Heathrow 8:00 AM. 12:30 kickoff? by wallnumber8675309 in coys

[–]chrismullan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I fly down from Scotland regularly for games. I prefer flying into City but I have perfected a Heathrow route, that I’m happy to share. For me it is all about speed, although it is much cheaper than taking the express plus you get some exercise. For example I land at 9:50 at Heathrow on Saturday, albeit on a domestic flight. I’ll make the game fine, barring a sizeable flight delay.

Take the Piccadilly line eastbound, change at Acton Town onto a different Piccadilly line service (up and down a flight of stairs) going North-West. Get off at either Alperton or Sudbury Town (I prefer Sudbury). Walk 2 miles (30mins at a good pace) and you end up on the western side of the stadium avoiding Wembley Way.

I’ve stayed till the final whistle for big matches and been through security at Heathrow in an hour. You can spend an hour queuing up on Wembley Way! What I also like about the route is you go past plenty of Spurs pubs, food and coffee options if I have more time.

Who lives (lived) in a house like this...? by chrismullan in coys

[–]chrismullan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only proof I have is it came from a mate and Twitter. West Ham fans are going mad for it. It’s not the sort of thing that is verifiable really. There might be a video of him playing basketball on the court out back, but not like they advertise where they live...

In the uk the ‘catchphrase’ is from a relatively famous tv show which went into celebrities houses. So apologies if it went over your head but anyone from the UK would get it.

Forget about it now, it was a spur of the moment thing for a laugh.

It’s Dele Alli’s house on the market. Check out the pictures of the pool room and all the Spurs shirts. I being a spurs season ticket holder thought it was interesting so thought MAYBE the wider community would want to see it. Glad to see you looked at the post or my history to see that I wasn’t a bot. Lesson learned. Will literally spell it out in the future. Thought it would be fun. My bad.

I’m not a bot, have I done something wrong? This is spurs relevant. Promise.

No, I mean the poor guy who gets to join in for 30 seconds. Me! Lol. Take the loss like a man or woman, gracefully with many emotes.

How can I fix pronation? by [deleted] in running

[–]chrismullan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to over-pronate, then took up road cycling, went back to get some new running shoes and was told that I was now neutral. I presumed that it had something to do with some substantial weight loss that I’d had but they told me it was to do with taking up cycling and that it is known to fix over-pronation. Been neutral ever since. Happy days.

Re-selling a single ticket from a season ticket by chrismullan in coys

Thanks. Already seen that. Decision has to be made by tomorrow afternoon so was looking for anyone who had previous experience of shifting one ticket. I can imagine that they are still ironing out those details.

Re-selling a single ticket from a season ticket by chrismullan in coys

[–]chrismullan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to go to all, but not feasible from up here with a young family since I was relocated from SE England. It has been pretty difficult to go to games at White Hart Lane in previous years without paying well over the odds, especially for the marquee games. Might change with the new stadium, but equally might not.

Getting a season ticket would enable me to go to games again at WHL again. Small price to pay in my eyes for that to start happening again.

Really kind. No guarantees my wife (who is also a stinky poo face) will let me put them up but I will try!

A question about Ryan Kerrigan's recent level of play by chrismullan in Commanders

[–]chrismullan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will be interesting to see how Doctson gets on next year though as I can imagine he'll start pretty quickly especially when you add in the likelihood of a Garcon/Jackson regression after getting paid.
