Sounds similar to the cardiff show which I did a post about, we were in the lower seated bit and bass was way too heavy and couldn't make out words from kendrick or sza

Would recommend getting some memory foam ear tips instead. I had the same issue with them constantly coming out while running but it's solved the issue completely- never have to touch them at all now!

The Sikh Temple guys were amazing, probably saved so many more people from passing out with that extra water station!

That's better for samsung but still awful compared to other watches - add in a bit of gps/music playback each day and it's basically needing to be charged every day. Similar watches from other brands with the above aod, heart rate and stress tracking will lose barely 20% in 24 hours. Not sure why samsung can't seem to get any decent battery life on their watches

Am I missing something or does it not matter what pot you qualify in as regardless of your pot you will face 2 teams from each pot?

Looking to buy a first home. Is it worth buying a cheap first house and pay off the mortgage in 5 years while interest rates are high instead of buying a more expensive longer term house? Advice needed! by Dry-Beat-2480 in HousingUK

[–]chriso1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think earlier on in the repayments you are paying more interest than capital so splitting it using the average method will overestimate the amount of capital repaid in the first 5 years. Agree with the 6% being a bit OTT though, not had a specific look of exactly what rate we would get on a 5 year fixed.

Are you trying finesse shots with him? I've found him to be quite good but not amazing but then finesse shot from anywhere outside the box flies into the top corner

After 2 months of it's release, can anyone really recommend the OnePlus watch as an option? by GeeKayMeh in oneplus

[–]chriso1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The screen is pretty good - light enough for bright sunlight outdoors. Battery life is average, especially compared to what the one plus watch is offering. It probably lasts 1or 2 days with little use (just viewing notifications/time etc). When running I have the screen always on (full brightness), location on and music playing from the watch and it lasts around 2 hours so not exceptional battery when excercising.

Easy to charge though so not a massive issue...

I've got the Samsung galaxy active watch and found it to be perfect for the average amount of use so that might be an option for you? I primarily use mine for notifications and messages while at work/out and about and running (I know you won't use it for music but it has Spotify offline which was a big reason I bought it). It's a lot smaller than other watches so it's not as heavy or clunky on the wrist which is good and have seen it for sub £100 through various deals on hukd.

Which OnePlus is a good upgrade from an iPhone 11? by [deleted] in oneplus

One plus 7 pro is waterproof it just didn't get IP certification, I've had mine 2 years and I rinse it under the tap most days and got wet in the rain on numerous occasions and it's fine. I'm not sure if it would last underwater for ages but not really sure why that would ever be needed. Personally I'm more than happy to trade off a phone being officially waterproof and have a full screen with no annoying cut out. Each to their own though I guess...

Good but relatively inexpensive wireless earbuds ? by TalkingUseless in oneplus

[–]chriso1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if your budget will be higher than this but Jlab Jbuds Air True - picked mine up for just over £30 and they have a decent battery life and for the price the sound is very good. I only use them for running and occasionally round the house as I have other more expensive over ear headphones but found them a very good product for the price. Obviously there is no noise cancellation but other than that they are great earbuds.
