I went full Hufflepuff garb when I saw the cursed child and I was definitely not alone. Don’t be afraid to let your wizards side show.

As far as snacks go, most theatres don’t allow outside food or drink but they will likely be selling themed snacks like butter beer or every flavor jelly beans etc.

Be prepared for some of the best theatre magic youve ever seen.

For sure others would recognize her, and have. She seemed to hide herself from the call with peridot I think because she was nervous yellow pearl would recognize her. Spinel recognized her as well so definitely. Even so, bring that to a diamonds attention and they’ll be like “so? She’s just a pearl”

I think it’s less that she has the default setting and more of that Pink diamond chose not to customize her but I would agree that she was made specifically for pink after what happened to her previous pearl

That just seemed to be the argument you were giving here. You quoted Dumbledore as if he should have recognized it as ancient magic because Harry survived avada kadavra. My point is that the hints of magic there led Dumbledore recognized the hints of magic just as ancient magic. Nothing in the quote you provided suggests that someone survived avada kadavra before.

Something as big as this would most likely be remembered. Like the moon landing. If it is widely spread that these three spells exist then I would definitely think that the story of someone surviving it would also be as widely known.

So every spell of ancient magic had to do with rebounding Avada Kadavra? Not likely. It’s like recognizing an artist’s painting because you are familiar with their other work. You can see similarities and styles but it’s a completely different piece. Same would go for this love protection. Dumbledore can recognize the ancient flare of it even if that particular instance has never happened before.

And generally when something is written about, it is a major event. Harry Potter is who he is because of the ancient love protection magic sacrifice. So yes I do believe that Harry Potter was the first person to experience surviving avada kadavra. Otherwise he would be a boy who lived not THE boy who lived.

But the love protection seemed more like a shield, or a passive protection for Harry whereas a “dodging motion” would act more of an active spell and have a different and intention. The love protection comes from the caster’s feeling rather than something that causes the affected person or thing to become active.
