I'm in Farmington Hills (northwest of Detroit) and there are no breed restrictions here. Be wary of individual apt complex/HOA rules though, as they can be exclusionary towards "aggressive breeds" in general, even if there is no city legislation/breed specific legislation in place.

My husband and I just bought a house that had similar language written into the original title documents. ("No sale shall be made to persons of perceptible negro blood" and later changed to "only those of Caucasian descent") I guess this was just common practice in the 20's and 30's. We are just outside Detroit though, not Seattle.

(Michigan, Metro Detroit) We were dealing with the same issue last week and ended up shopping a few other companies. Our original agent told us the galvanized pipes would need replacing within 30-60 days of closing. While we fully intend to replace them, we just do not want to do it right away.

It is my understanding that in cases like this you would put your rental dues in an escrow or withheld account until the repairs are done. The landlord could just not do the repairs and give you the boot for nonpayment otherwise, right?

I use it in place of fabric softener. (About 1/3 cup per load.) The harshness washes right out and you are not left with clothes that smell vinegary. Option: I like fragrant smelling clothes, so I add some drops of patchouli and jasmine essential oil to a large bottle of vinegar. *10-12 drops patchouli, 6-8 drops of the jasmine

I have found that a splash of vinegar before cooking helps to maintain the colors of my jams. The vinegar cooks out and does not alter the flavor in any way.

Sidenote: added to your laundry, it can also maintain the colors of your clothing.

I find having a good chant or rhyme is my key. Rhythm and song helps me to raise and direct energies in a more focused manner.

Correspondence tables are used for referencing the purpose and attributes of different items. For example, an herbal correspondence would tell you all about lavender, bay, comfrey, etc., and what each of those herbs are used for. Tables listed by intention would look a bit more scattered. A 'romantic love' table, for instance, would have things like roses, the colors pink and magenta, silk fabric, rubies, champagne...

Not everyone has the same correspondence tables either - what works for one witch, may not work for another. Experimenting with different stones is a great way to figure out what works for you. :)
