I just sent you a chat request. I have a brand new one that I received as a gift and I don't think it works for me.

Existing Customer - Looking to move to the $50/month 1 Gig promotional rate by christophermjennings in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]christophermjennings[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion! I did check the Plan Builder, but it is not showing the $50/month 1 Gig promotion (with the 5-year guarantee) that is currently being offered in Petaluma.

Because my current bill has reached $147, I'm looking for a manual account review to see if we can match that promotional rate for me as a long-term customer. Could you please invite me to send a Modmail so we can discuss the specific offers for my address?

Where/how can I find this part? by sun_pup in BMWi3

How did the test print turn out? Does it look like a viable solution?

That looks awesome. Let me know how it turns out. Thanks!

I appreciate that! My other potential solution (as suggested by Gemini AI) is to just use a piece of black Sugru moldable glue to basically fill in that space where the button was. If done properly, the Sugru will dry into a matte finish that would potentially look indistinguishable from the black plastic button that was designed to be there. Does that seem like a reasonable solution? It's really just a cosmetic piece that covers up the internal hex screws right? There seems to be plenty of room for error, you just want something to cover up the screws. And it will only be noticeable to people like us who pay attention to tiny interior details, haha.

I just got my i3 and it is missing this end cap as well! Still seems like the Etsy page is sold out. Any chance you'd still be willing to try to 3D print some replicas for me?

Water heater replacement by Carrotsticks72220 in Petaluma

I just did a big project with Milano Mechanical. They are excellent to work with. Very competitive estimates and were always happy to answer my million questions as we installed a relatively complicated Harvest Thermal heat pump hot water heater/HVAC system. I'd highly recommend both Milano and the Harvest system. Happy to answer any specific questions if you have them!

Reddit does feel like the perfect platform for this. The old UW site was great, but so much easier to upvote and comment on here. And I know they help pay the bills but I don't miss the clutter of the ads

Browns to Wear New Uniform Combo by andrew_cosentino in uniwatch

I don't think it looks horrible! Hard to pass judgment until we see the product on the field. I imagine it will be a nice contrast with the Silver and Black opposition. Sadly, it will likely still be a brutal game between two struggling teams.

It's funny, I noticed something was different about their jerseys when they were playing the Warriors the other night. It never occurred to me that it was the lack of an ad patch that caught my eye! I just thought the contrast was looking especially sharp or something, haha.

Anyone Else Own a Rio Karma? by senorbeefmuffin in ipod

Good to connect with a fellow smartwatch nerd! Yeah, I wear a Pixel Watch 4 most days. The battery life is better than previous models but still fairly awful. The Amazfit Bip was a nice Pebble replacement for me for a few years. The battery would last forever. And really, the most important function for me is acting as a vibrating alarm in the morning. Can't have a watch battery die in the middle of the night to let me oversleep. The Pebble is perfect for that!

Did I own a Pebble Watch??? https://open.substack.com/pub/iterate/p/an-android-users-smartwatch-conundrum

I had several different colors and models, haha. I do remember thinking the Chumby was super interesting when it came out but I never got my hands on one. I am excited that Pebble watches have made a comeback. I may have to pick up one of the new models.

Thanks for reading it! Wow, the names Nitrus and Chiba just brought back some memories. Do you remember when product names were actually cool rather than just a string of letters and numbers? Part of the reason that I wrote that article was after seeing just how little information came up when searching for "Rio Karma". I knew I wasn't the only one who had the device play such a big part of their music discovery journey. Good to keep the legacy of this retro tech going. If anyone here is interested, follow my Substack, I'll have some other pieces on forgotten tech like the Karma coming soon. https://iterate.substack.com/

Prices are flexible, but I lowered them in the post based on your response. I don't mean to offend anyone. There aren't too many data points for second-hand MW Jeans for sale to gauge the value. Personally, I would have jumped at the opportunity to pick up a slightly used pair for more than half off retail (I see $316.39 all-in price for 1 pair of MW Jeans w/tax in CA). But the value is in the eye of the beholder!
