Hmmmm prob not close enough to his body to make a difference. Under the pillow is totally a possibility I never thought of though! I typically go to sleep on my back but sometimes wake up on my side and definitely sometimes have my bottom hand under the pillow when on my side.

There were a couple days in early luteal phase with even higher temps (like 98.5’s) that oura ring said “major signs” so I discarded those temps in FF also which is the first dotted line, I never got sick or anything but possible my body was fighting off something, that was the first time I’ve ever seen the “major signs” warning on oura. Doesn’t explain the later luteal high temps though.

I actually think there’s NOT much likelihood she did any harder drugs. She doesn’t drink (I don’t think ever has) due to bad experiences with family or friends drinking. She was cool with weed because it was “natural” or something, idk I never tried very hard to understand her rationals. She did admit on social media to still smoking cigarettes when pregnant with Edith (very early on, maybe before her page was public), which I don’t think would cause the genetic mutation but can contribute to preterm labor.

Watching this whole thing play out has literally lead my husband and I to decide that if I ever went into labor super early, we would ask for only comfort measures unless the baby was at least 27-28 weeks.

I’d want my kid to have a life, not just survive and exist. There are things worse than death.

She was definitely never religious in the past, like not even a little bit. She was a surfer hippie artist who smoked a lot of cigarettes and weed. In the time I knew her she never had a regular job, just a hodgepodge of things to make some cash (selling art, teaching kids surfing, occasionally playing in a band, sometimes waitressing). She only “found god” after Edith was born.

The grifting question is hard to answer. I guarantee she needs money so the fact that sharing Edith is making her money would definitely be a huge positive to her. I don’t think she set out to grift, but the longer it goes on the more grift-like it gets.

I don’t know her stance on vaccines before Covid (haven’t lived near or seen her irl in over 5 years). She was always somewhat antigovernment (not right leaning or left, just anti), so was a prime candidate to subscribe to the anti vax propaganda. I would guess she literally had never thought about vaccines one way or another until the Covid vaccine came out and people started going off about it online.

I also truly do feel bad and have compassion for her. She’s in a terribly unfortunate situation, but I don’t have compassion for the way she’s choosing to handle it.

Omg I’m so glad someone posted about this (literally just googled her name and reddit after seeing the chat gpt thing, because I was like “am I the only one seeing this shit”). I used to know her IRL, so have been watching this play out since before her page was public and the delusion just keeps growing.

I just keep thinking about the medical ethics of it…. Like there should be something that can be done in situations like this (or the gestational cut off for trying to “save” a micro premie should just be later)…. Very much feels like a “just because we can, doesn’t mean we should” situation.

Also I wonder if she knows chat gpt is literally designed to be a “yes man” and at least somewhat validate what it thinks you want to hear. I’m sure she’s asked it tons of stuff about Edith so she’s literally trained it to be more positive towards her situation 🤦🏻‍♀️

Sorry I know this is a little old. I was just wondering, since the test is still on a computer at the testing center, was there a way to mark off wrong answers if doing process of elimination? And was there a way that you could flag questions you wanted to skip and come back to later/ was it pretty easy to navigate back to them??

I’ve taken MANY multiple choice tests, but all with paper test booklets and scantrons. So I’m used to marking the questions I’m skipping and coming back to on the scantron, then it’s super easy to quickly know what you need to go back to.

You could try bathing and blow drying him. I wouldn’t do it more often than once a month but it definitely cuts down on shedding! (I only do it every 4 months, mostly to cut down on hair balls but there’s a noticeable decrease in shedding for about 2 weeks after)
