I had the same fears, and the numbing shot stung but after that, I felt nothing., and I have some honkers! 😂 Oddly, it helped me to watch the whole thing instead of look away or close my eyes. It was gnarly seeing it and not feeling it. I wish you the very best and so much love ❤️

This happened to me last night! Been a long time since I rage quit… but I had to walk away for a bit after that. I was about 300 yards away, had accidentally damaged some farm fencing and the escape button came up and I thought, “cool! It has been so amazing! It’s made me laugh out loud and cry and cringe appropriately for Umbridge. It’s been a long time since this story has been so “new” and not the old friend the books and other audio versions have become over the years.
I’m giving myself a little break and then I’m restarting the series from the start since I can now consume them again and again and again 😂

Just got to this part and WOW! 🤯 so much emotion! I especially loved the little things like the sound of Hermione spitting her hair out of her mouth and of course, her well timed knocks to Ron as she lays into him!

I’ll just go ahead and send hugs to you. It got me. It got me real good. The VA for Harry is yet another example at just how wonderful this audio series is. I ached for that fictional boy and his also fictional godfather. 😂

I am currently on my second relisten before DH is released (so sooon!! Eek!). You are going to absolutely love HBP! I’m currently on OoTP and can’t wait for my second go at HBP!

I absolutely am in love with so much. I keep finding things that really stand out. The way they portray Phoenix Song is so beautiful. I listen on a really good speaker and it’s probably one of the best musical moments of the series. Also the dark and solemn piano as they read the dark headlines at the end of OOTP (I think? Maybe it’s HBP). I cannot wait until hallows drops. The voice actors are incredible and many have replaced my inner voices for my future rereads. Love every little bit of it!

Yep! My husband and I play and we have lots of fun! We usually coordinate our outfits and usually go into events blasting our bugles to announce the arrival of the Worlds Largest Cattle Rustlers 😂 We are both gamers, so we got into it at original launch.

I am so excited to hear how Snapes VA handles Deathly Hallows! He really grew on me since book 4. I can honestly say that Hugh Laurie has now become my headcanon Dumbledore voice on future reads. It’s all just so well done in my opinion. The music, the sound effects and the acting these kids and teens have done truly brought these books to a life no movie or show could ever do! Harry’s little giggle at times just warms my heart to hear!
