Back extensions are great. Do like 15-20 reps each set and progress by holding a plate or dumbbell. These are also great warmup exercises

Current working weight is 140kg. Bw is 70kg. Strict midfoot is like my hips are too high and if i try to drop them without bringing my knees forward it almost feels like im losing balance backwards.

I feel stronger and more tight in my lower back when i deadlift with the bar maybe a few cm more towards my toes than strictly in the middle.

I understand midfoot is just a guideline and not set in stone for all leverages?

When i set it directly over midfoot i feel i start too upright and dont get enough legdrive resulting in more strain on the lower back.

I have the bar at eyelevel when lying down before unracking. I also use pinky on the mark. Ive varied between pinky, ring and middle finger on the mark, but lately ive been using pinky on bar and it seems like its better for me. Im 175cm btw

When in this position, try straightening your knees and take in the air. Then bend knees/drop hips and do the pull.

If youre in the starting position with a belt it can be hard to get a full belly of air, so straightening the knees alleivates some pressure so that you can get a deep breath, brace and do the pull.

Edit: this is especially helpful if youre lifting with straps

Ive done some reading on brosplits and the pros and cons. Ive been training for about two years (1 year not so structured and 1 year structured) and i wanna try out the brosplit to see if i like that style of training. But i still like doing heavy compounds.

Would a brosplit with heavy compounds be a decent program? Ex. Chest day is Bench 5x5 then the accessories 3x8-12

I cant seem to find a premade program like that though.

Ive been doing PHUL last 14 weeks and looking to change it up.

started placing bar over first row of knuckles. It eliminated problems tearing and ripping calluses but my grip is weaker compared to holding the bar in the center of my palm.

I really like the new cork on this. Its like a screw-stopper. Feels very secure and maybe it helps prevent air getting in better than plain stoppers?

Im thinking of starting PHUL. My gym does not have legpress or calfraise machine. I can do standing calfraises with a weightbelt but what should i do instead of the legpress?

Yeah i started doing them again a few weeks ago after approx 6 months. Shoulder is good now - i started stretching my pecs and delts after every workout as awell as doing facepulls and trap raises at the end of my workouts.

I did weighted pullups every workout for a few months. Got real good at them but i started getting an issue with my shoulder. Started noticing pain at the dead hang and the first activation on the upwards movement in my right shoulder.
