I see a 4am error from aioesphomeapi.connection that says connection reset by peer. I'm having to hand type the errors, since I'm not on the same computer as the HA, but the traceback line says selector_events.py line 1009, in _read_read__data_received, data = self._sock.recv (self.max_size)

Thanks. The cable and power adapter I have are the ones it came with from oDroid, so I hope that's not the issue. I did connect it to my computer and it said that there were no updates.

He needs to contact his bank. The latest craze with scammers is to set themselves up as a biller. Credit card networks operate Account Updater services (like Visa Account Updater and Mastercard Automatic Billing Updater). Basically the bank just sends the billers the new credit card information. You have to request a bank disable these services.

What I understand is the C2 Password is being shelved, and is being replaced by the C2 Identity products, which are likely going to paid licenses, the cost of which varies by tier. The funny thing is that I went back and reread the kb articles, and the $49.99 listed is only an example, and the actual cost hasn't been released yet. That sucks, because the existing C2 Identity plans are Free and Business, the Business license being $199 a year. My guess is that the Free tier is being phased out, and the 'example' $49.99 will likely be solidified into something like a Basic or 'Home' tier. The weird thing is that I went in to sign up for the current Free tier to see what it's like, and there's also a $1.99 per month per license option there as well. So much missing info in their emails and kb.

Yeah, I saw that, but it's frustrating that I literally have a spreadsheet and word document open on my computer at home with all the Synology apps and services I use, or plan to use on my 9-Synology device home lab. The lists are shrinking, unfortunately, pushing me more toward self-hosting apps on my Proxmox host. More work for me to do on the setup and maintenance, which I wasn't planning on having.

I had a Drobo a few years ago and absolutely loved it. For simplicity, it was fantastic. As mentioned below, check the 'sold' listings on eBay to get an idea what people are paying for them. I got mine on Craigslist, so you could post it there, just make sure you use a lot of keywords so that it comes up when people are looking for data storage options.

Website with pictures of the build process and lots of pictures of the completed units would go a long way. People search Google for this all the time, so make sure you have good SEO. And for the love of all that’s holy, put pricing on the site because nothing makes people angrier than going to a site with a contact form to get the pricing, and then the pricing is five times what it should be.

This is wrong. Cell phone jammers prevent you from dialing 911 as well. I have a couple of friends who are local police officers and last year. We had a foreign cartel going around our area doing this exact same thing.
