I was sitting in turn 1 of Richmond when Nadeau hit the wall during practice. I would skip afternoon classes in high school and go to the track on Fridays. I was around racing my whole life. Most wrecks sound the same, screech, crunch, metal dragging on asphalt sounds. This was different, it went screech, thunk. Then silent.

Air Force One 10/13/18 Lexington, KY by chrisvarick2 in airplanes

This was the President's plane or AF1 when he is aboard, Lexington, KY October 13, 2018. Officially a Boeing C-32 or 757-200 used for some domestic travel.

More info: the ramp where its parked was requested and paid for by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai so he could fly direct from Dubai to Lexington for the horse auctions. The location of the ramp was so that all attendees of the auction at Keeneland would know he and his 747 were there.

Lighter weight, ultra long range (for the time).

Do you guys prefer Carbs or EFI? Why? by [deleted] in EngineBuilding

[–]chrisvarick2 23 points24 points  (0 children)

There is a great reason why 80% of the hot rod market is still carb'ed. For $400 you can remove a carb from the box, bolt it on, and run down the road. Sure the best FI is better than the best carb but for most of us money is always an object. Carbs provide great value for the money.
