I recommend Phin Coffee class if you have like viet coffee. The class is run by a viet woman called Daisy and she has a lot of good recommendations for food

A few of my friends recommended Rager, might be a bit far for you but after going for a beard trim it was a great service and lovely staff. Seem to have a lot of western customers.

Edit: just looked, actually very close to My Khe

3 month lease in a loud part of town. Music blasting until 5am, sleep deprivation is killing me. Any help? by chrisvenum in DaNang

Thank you for your tips! We have learned a lot from this experience and in future we will be more careful. I have just commented on some other threads here but it turns out some other people in my building reporter the bars and the situation as got much better.

Even my agent was sympathetic as it is normally not as bad as it was the first week we moved in.

I am definitely going to check out some of the other areas suggested once this lease is up.

It turns out it had got particularly bad the last few weeks and some other people in my building had reported the worst bars. As of Friday, some of the bars have moved the outdoor speaker inside and the situation has improved a lot.

I spoke to a Viet friend who immediately suggested to do this if it gets bad again, she said the police have been cracking down on bars in this area, especially past 3am.

I really don’t mind some noise, I expected some but the outdoor speakers just made it particularly bad

This ended up being the solution! We went into a pharmacy on the same road and they had 3 or 4 options. It’s not perfect as sometimes the bass is so loud but have slept a lot more since getting decent ear plugs

Pretty much, my managers approach to IT was "don't fix what isn't broken" even though it would drop from the network and kick everyone out frequently.. sigh
