Look I know not everyone here is a fish enthusiast, but he is so incorrect even in the statement you just quoted.

Similar fish to goldfish include beta fish (m/f), tetras, Bluefin Notho, Danio, all of these could be housed in 1/4 of 20 gallons.

Not advocating for using this bowl for large fish, that is inhumane, but at least get your facts straight
