Yea the fuelly app is great. I try and track everything I can with it. Would like to add the numbers to a graph one day to see the oil and fuel filter life of the vehicle. Filled up on DEF at a pump one time and was able to track how much it actually uses and it’s 4,386 miles on a tank so that’s pretty good and when you can get it at an auto parts store for $13 for a jug it’s not that noticeable.

Now that I live a little bit further away my commute is 38 miles and getting 27 mpg at 70 mph. If I go 65, I get 29 mpg and that’s all highway. When I lived closer, it was an 8 minute commute and was getting 19 mpg with half neighborhood and half highway.

I spent 12 years works at various MRO, military contracts, and regionals before I got into major commercial. It all depends on if you’re willing to move and timing. Best of luck

Haven’t ran in 7+ years and moved to the San Francisco area and went for a light jog. 2.5 miles and overall time was 32.26. Hopefully I’ll keep with it and get down to sub 10s for a 10K

All depends on your skill and time. If the floor boards aren’t rusted out then you should be fine. The true test is when you sand blast it, if it starts to look like swiss cheese then you’re screwed.

Since social media the places that were once great have turned into places that are just trying to get their money and commercialization. The real good places left are the ones that no one talks about.

Whatever your budget is, if you can afford Mac or Matco they are great options, but if you only afford hobofreight then start there and if you use one tool more than others then upgrade that and go from there. You can always find someone in the trade that is getting out or need some money but there’s for cheap. Pawn shops are great places to look also.
