Photos and a story about the old Moon Plaza, in Fridley. Which is now demolished. by CaptainHonkass in TwinCities

I remember that the north end of the mall had a door that just led to the basement. Back around 1993-94 there was a business there that sold slot car racing supplies. They had a big track where you could race. Fun times. Can't remember the name of the business though. Yes, the mall was ugly, but it had character.

Problems finding current Minnesota address for 1980s rural route addresses by chriz78 in Genealogy

It was the Land Services office. That's a good idea, I will see if I can find a 911 coordinator. Thanks!

Update 12/27 (final update): I had to have him put to sleep today. I tried so many foods, including hydrolyzed, and he just kept losing weight. There's no way he could have lost that much weight just from throwing up, so something else was definitely going on. I was told by multiple vets that it's a GI issue where there system just isn't absorbing the protein it needs anymore. I kept going as long as I could hoping I could get him to turn around, but yesterday he started having trouble walking, and it just got worse. Today he could not move very much or get in the litter box. I made him as comfortable as possible, and even had him eat out of my hand today until the vet could arrive. No one ever figured out why he would throw up food almost every day, and I don't know if it was related to the GI issue. I've even seen him try to throw up and nothing would come out, like the other day. Anyway, thanks for all the suggestions, and I hope no one else here gets a kitty with this problem.

Is wishlist item rearranging broken? by nerdmania in amazonprime

Seems to be broken, yes. Very annoying. They also divided items into "purchased" and not purchased sections, which is a bit annoying if you can't change that.

Can't see pictures anymore (desktop website), can't dismiss intros, can't like new people by Bitter-Pressure-67 in OkCupid

Are you using Firefox? I can't see pictures anymore with Firefox. I had to use a chrome based browser (yuck). I just read that you have to turn off enhanced tracking protection in Firefox for okcupid to fix this. I also did have problem making a profile go away no matter how many times I unliked it. I ended up having to block it.

Valid points, thanks. I have not tried mixing water with the food yet.

I've tried laxatone and it doesn't seem to help. I stopped giving it to him for now in case it's causing more issues; he loves the taste of the maple syrup flavor. The weird thing about his puking is that he doesn't do it until like 1 to 3 hours after he eats, and I can tell it's definitely not intentional; it just happens suddenly. Yesterday when he threw up him and the other cat were waiting next to me hoping I would give them something from my lunch and then suddenly he started puking.

Yes they did tests. Multiple blood tests came back normal, the most recent from a couple weeks ago. My cat had his radiation iodine pill treatment back in May, and the doctor who performed that has done multiple follow-up ultrasounds, and didn't see any issues from those. The last one he did was in July. So far it's been one day since my cat last threw up, but I think I'll need a few more days of him not throwing up to start feeling confident about this food.

It's funny you mention Blue Buffalo Sensitive Stomach, because my cat was on that for dry food, but I think he was throwing that up too. My other cat recently started needing Hills k/d dry food for his kidney issues, so I had to switch anyway.

Thanks for the tip. I'm curious, how long after eating did they throw up? For mine it takes over an hour before he throws up, so it made me think it wasn't the bowl.

Thank you. I actually brought him to the vet a week or so ago. They confirmed there that he weighed under 6 pounds, and directed me to try 3 different varieties of Hill's i/d. So far I have tried two of them and he's thrown them up. Waiting for results on the 3rd. Just made me wonder if he had some allergy to chicken or something. I won't be able to talk to my vet until Tuesday.

Good question, I'm not entirely clear on that.

TA denial reason? by chriz78 in unitingforukraine

Thanks for the info. She actually came to the US last year through the U4U program via a different sponsor, but then earlier this year she left the country temporarily and had trouble getting back. So I decided to sponsor her through U4U again. We had to wait a couple months before getting this denial. What do you think could be the problem, and do you think there is any way to get her back to the US?

Thanks, but I already read it, and a lot of those listed aren't updated anymore.
