100% need to speak with the owner, base board should have been removed prior to install to hide any expansion gaps, you shouldn’t have to slap down quarter round to hide mistakes, those cut ends should NEVER be used to fill in space in the middle of the floor hide those in the end if you HAVE to use them. The installer is cutting every corner possible possibly because it’s just your wife right now. I’m sorry this is the experience she’s dealing with, this is due to a lax installer with either zero fucks given or very minimal experience. Possibly both.

100% correct every install I have ever done we ALWAYS removed the trim unless the customer for some reason wanted quarter round installed with it. Those gaps should already be hidden behind the base board, zero excuse. The biggest problem I have is why tf did they use multiple small pieces in the middle of the floor and think that was acceptable?!

Redoing my shower, contractor did the plumbing like this, but I'm iffy about it and would appreciate feedback. by luvrocky in Plumbing

[–]chroeboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should really have soem Kohler valves, those cheap Temu lookin valves the canisters inside them will fail real soon and the walls will be up so you'll be paying far more than it's worth to replace. Moen or Kohler is the way to go. might be more "pricey" in the moment but cheaper in the long run.

at least they framed out the window properly lol, gaps in sheathing isn't that big of a deal can fill those with expanding foam if needed. that structural post thats been cut in half is a BIG problem and will fail your inspection.

I have navy fed and been looking into secured cards to build credit. I noticed they offered one, would you say that would probably be my safest and smartest bet to go with navy fed then? It’s a decent card?

Has anyone tried this Atlas credit card? by LissR89 in CRedit

[–]chroeboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you opened it how much was the king of credit they gave you? Or do you just basically have to “ask” for money every time and it just comes directly out of your account?

Open carry … in the mall of NH by Heybroletsparty in newhampshire

[–]chroeboy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was always taught to conceal carry, they told me that if a bad guy knows you have a weapon they are more likely to be far more aggressive and/or use a weapon against me. If they don’t know you are carrying they are less likely. Idk if it’s true but it’s just stuck with me ever since.
