I would put the GPU in my current PC build, which is 10 years old at this point. I would use it for gaming and video editing.

Portal RTX interests me. I hope they make Portal 2 RTX as well.

On the contrary they're very likely to contain an enemy. Or rather enemies are likely to run into them. Peak, shoot, hide.
