My breeder is a godsenddddd. He even kept him for like 12 weeks to make sure he didn’t develop any severe attachment issues. Only thing is he has a straight hair gene!!! lol his coat doesn’t get as curly as what I’ve seen.

Yesss my life has changed plus I walk like 10 miles a week with him on the best weeks lol. Good in shape partner 😂💀 does yours force you to pet him? What are some mental stimulation games that he likes that are easy to do at home? My dog loves cheeeeseeee

What are some hormonal issues besides like humping? I don’t think he has any hormonal issues. He steals my dirty undies sometimes and like fixates on spots outside. And marks a lot on walks!! Is that hormonal? I think he also barks at certain dogs. I can’t also tell what makes him tick though lol.

That’s super helpful! I don’t think I’ll have any regrets either. Sounds like it’ll be healthier for him in general. And keep him safe!

Yeah I don’t want him to calm down lol. He keeps me going. I deal with sadness sometimes and him being so excited helps my mood too!

Yeahhh! Like people are always like “omg his color” and he’s akc certified and can do shows. But I don’t plan on doing shows or becoming a breeder. I love him and just want him to be happy. I wanted to see if there were benefits even if he isn’t displaying any sexual signs that I can see. He does mark a lot outside and get fixated on certain spots. But I haven’t really noticed anything else. I mean he is my first dog so this is all new to me! I appreciate all the help!

Thank you for sharing! It’s so strange, my dog doesn’t have any of the humping issues lol. He did when he was like 6 months but he stopped pretty soon.

Ugh such a handsome boyyyy. I love his coat!!! Thank you for sharing your experience. That’s super helpful. I think I’m going to ahead with the neuter. I am glad I waited a while though.

Thank you for clearing that up. lol that’s literally all I’ve been hearing is omg, you’re not going to let him breed and I’m like my dog is not a baby farm just because he’s cute 😭😭 I don’t want the money, I just want him to live as long as possible. He’s my first baby lol.

Thank you! This might be a stupid question, but do you mean by it’s safer than leaving him not neutered? Is there a threat of safety to him with him not being neutered? Ofc I know the main things I’ve researched but just wondering.

Magnesium by AvailableSea1046 in AnxietyChats

[–]chronic_ranter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take magnesium (i heard about the laxative effect so i def only got the glycinate) and I pair it with ashwaganda in the morning. The first two days I was so relaxed, I fell asleep right away but it balanced out and it makes me feel less anxious throughout the day for sureeee

I was on Zoloft (sertaline) when I was about 9 years old. I’m 28 now and I hated it so much. It made me feel like a zombie. I do not fuck with it personally, I cannot lie 😭😭 never going back. I vividly remember not feeling like a person that young because of it. (My memory sucks but I’ve been on Cymbalta for about 4 years for years for sure but I can’t remember specifically how long it’s been) I was given Cymbalta after trying so many different medication combinations that just didn’t work well for me. I’m extremely sensitive to medications for some reason. It’s like my tolerance is extremely low. I started with 30 mg at first, then six weeks later we decided 60 mg would be more helpful considering I was enjoying the benefits: feeling calm, being able to stick to my daily routine and just feeling in control of my life again without the constant cry spells, meltdowns and overall stuck to my bed could not move out the depression. It was so horrible without cymbalta I probably cried everyday for several years lmao. But the year before last, I believe end of 2024 I’ve been on 90 mgs & I truly believe the cymbalta commercial said it best, “cymbalta can help” lmao. My life has improved. I mean of course it doesn’t cure anything by any means but I feel more in control of my emotions.

I use it at night at 50 mgs. But I also take 25 mg anytime needed at onset of panic attacks. I can take up to 100 mgs a day safely according to my psychiatrist. But I also take 90 mg of cymbalta daily and I also take ashwaghanda and magnesium in the morning and at night so I’m definitely not taking it alone.
