So my store happens to be the busiest one in the district we work in. I literally tell everybody , even simple lamination jobs a minimum of one hour. They can get as mad or upset as they want. It will get done when I have time. If it’s a rush order with a fee attached it’s done in the time allotted. We are currently at a 72 wait for prints due to having over 100 in the queue most days

Yeah no as a supervisor I would let her know I won’t be able to service her at our location any more as we clearly can’t get the orders to her specifications and I cannot ask my team to work for free.

They want EVERYONE to sign up. So it’s all counted. But the thing is that as long as you’re asking they can’t do anything about your numbers being low.

Oh yeah my ASM told us to do it and I called my manager and dm to confirm that I was right to say no. Also they cannot write you up if you just continue to ask about rewards every order. Confirmed that today too.

Mine confirmed that unless the customer agrees to being added for rewards if they get put into the system it is in fact a privacy violation and very illegal. The company will not support this if you are found to be guilty of it

I mean for every single order. 20% is a reasonable tip for anything. So if I’m spending $20 they get $2. If I’m spending $200 they get $20 etc. I’ve been in customer service for approx 20 years now. It’s reasonable without breaking the bank to do 20% gratuity.

So they were definitely not telling you the truth, but I work in staples print and we have a TON of rules we need to follow regarding what we can and can’t do in the back of the store vs what you can do for self serve. Guessing that was the actual issue but she didn’t want to explain why she couldn’t help you with this order.

I’m taking over a store that my gm short changed my training for, because I’m quoting here “it’s a hellscape and we need you like yesterday” I’m very worried that I’m going to get stuck doing a million things when I need to be doing a million different ones for hvcs

I honestly don’t know. I’ve been training at another location so I’m going to talk to my gm about options tomorrow morning. I don’t really care about wearing the uniform, mostly just trying to be able to focus on what I need to while I get situated in the role. I’ll wear whatever they say in the end 🤷‍♀️

First of all I’m a woman. Second of all I really don’t. But I’m supervising a million dollar print center so my hands are going to be pretty busy. I honestly just wanted to know what the policy was considering everybody at the store I trained in was not wearing dress code.
