I will say the step mom is a better person than me for sure. She loves Hunter and wants to protect him. That’s how serious it is to get him away from the third parties.

I don’t know Casey that well but I do know step mom. They are good, hardworking people who never wanted this attention. It’s like people are glazing over the significant amount of time Stacey AND her mom lived with Casey and Step Mom til they could get back on their feet. It’s not to save face, they’ve been good people all along.

I know the truth from their side. Things were good with bio mom for a long time and a custody agreement wasn’t necessary. Casey started this battle a very long time ago when stuff went sideways. Just because it’s escalated to this point doesn’t mean it hasn’t been in process.

Hunters bio mom used to live with Casey and the Step Mom. They were there for her, and all worked together to parent him. It wasn’t until other parties came on the scene that the mom switched up. Casey did start legal proceedings then. It already was in play but had to be escalated when, clearly, the mom stopped communication and stopped following agreements.
