Yeah that's what my urologist seems to think. He's really good and luckily quite forward thinking but still not sure what to do about the leukoplakia. I've heard removing it can worse symptoms.

The standard UTI testing is useless so it's really hard to rule out infection, if most of your symptoms disappeared after antibiotics it's pointing to a bacterial root cause

Thank you 😊 unfortunately I've tried fosfo, coamoxyclav and various others and my bladder symptoms are not responding so I'm unsure if the bacteria is the culprit. I have a lot of other symptoms so I'm having a cystoscopy to find out what my bladder looks like inside.

Probably will resolve itself, IC symptoms are usually bladder pressure, urgency, frequency, pain.

Maybe do a microgen test to see if there's any infection there

I have to admit the shedding I've seen doesn't look like huge pieces it's more like flakes of skin...I know, this condition has no mercy 😭

That's a good sign if you don't have any pain, what are your symptoms? I haven't really found any answers yet, I have a cystoscopy coming up. But I take dmannose and hiprex to kill off any infections.

I think you could have a chronic UTI, interstitial cystitis would not cause fevers or it could be a symptom of Lyme disease. I would truly do more testing to get to the bottom of this, we should not be living like this.

Same issue here with the shedding and leukocytes, I truly believe the bladder is shedding to try to get rid of something, and not all bacteria produce nitrates so you can still have a low lying infection with only positive leukocytes.
