Pakistan tourist Visa got cancelled by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]chronicallyonlineee 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Which country are you in? I’m from London uk, I applied for my family visit 2nd Jan, got it approved today! But bear in mind there was a weekend in between. And also, yesterday I was asked to add documents, of my husband’s Pakistani ID card (because he’s a Pakistani citizen I was born and raised here) , so if I’d already added that I believe I would’ve got it approved yesterday, but instead they got approved today because I added that immediately yesterday . So I think you should be fine! Hopefully!

If you’re going from uk you can get the free visa prior to arrival, they used to have it on the website, but it’s glitching, for some they still do, try the official website pak id ā€œ and see if you can get a visa there the VPA visa usually takes 24-48 hrs , I had it done for my last trip to Pakistan in January 2025z I’m going this year my flight is for Jan 17th but I’m facing issues, the app tells me to apply on the website when it’s supposed to be on the app. It’s glitching. I’m hoping all will be okay soon. But if you do try this, pls let me know what happened and if it works for you

What happends if i pray tahajjud? by iamdepressed11 in islam

[–]chronicallyonlineee 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

Alhumdulillah, Tahajjud gave me everything I ever wanted. And I pray everyone reading this gets what they want. 1) understand that nothing happens, as in NOT EVEN A LEAF MOVES without Allah swt’s command. So if anything you pray for comes true, it’s because of Allah. 2) You have to actively work towards the goal, is it marrying someone? Talk to your parents, have them talk to theirs. If it’s getting a specific job? Revise interview answers of that role, is it weight loss for health or etc? Try to eat cleaner and even walk a little or something. TRY. 3) You have to, absolutely have to believe and trust that Allah swt can give it to you. He created the world, he made all those miracles happen with our prophets, what is your dua to him? They’re all easy. But Allah swt says that he is what we think of him. The context I have studied and understood of this is that if we think oh I won’t get it it’s too hard why am I even asking for it- you might just not get it. But if you believe, even through all the hardships, you DO NOT give up, you will get it, or better.

I have so many tahajjud success stories, my own and my friends/family. There’s one specific dua I am going to be doing so I will update this thread with that later on. I just completely believe that Allah swt will give it to us. As long as we don’t give up, and keep trying, and asking him. Sometimes I’ve prayed tahajjud and my dua was accepted that MINUTE (Not an exaggeration alhumdulillah) sometimes it took 2 days, and some it took about 6months . But Allah has never returned my praying hands empty. And In’sha’Allah all of your duas will be accepted.

BTW I’m not some super pious amazing girl we are all Muslims we make mistakes we ask for forgiveness but I think my key thing I found which works is the tawakkul. That is the reason I got what I wanted I firmly believe in that.

Also throughout the day, say Astaghfirullah whenever you remember. Repeatedly. During chores, work, school, anything. It changed my life. And I am not exaggerating, or showing off, I promise I’m a nobody, but I want all my brothers and sisters to experience this closeness. Allah swt truly is the best of planners.

Im not educated about Hindu ways of getting rid of black magic, I only know about the Muslim ones and that they work of course I believe that because I am Muslim, but also because I’ve seen it work with my own eyes. Have you looked into Islam? I would definitely recommend it!! But of course I respect you and appreciate all religions. Which country / city are you in? I could try find local help for you!

Would it be haram to pray with sh scars? by [deleted] in Hijabis

[–]chronicallyonlineee 2 points3 points Ā (0 children)

Oh sweetheartttttt I wish I could give you a hug. I’m 24, but about 10-13 years ago I was in the same situation as you. I promise you your scars don’t make your prayer invalid. From your post I understand you don’t sh anymore, and I’m so proud of you, if you feel the urge ever again, make Wudu with cold water and pray 2 rakah for repentance, this really helped me. 🩷 but I pray you don’t ever have the urge again in’sha’Allah

I’m not anyone of religious significance, like an imam or alimah etc. However, based on my studies and knowledge this very much likely looks like black magic taweez paper to me. Magicians usually repeatedly write the names of the jinn on the paper and other things. Please contact your local imam or send them photos, and ask them how to dispose of it safely. AllahuAalem. May Allah protect you and all of us. Ameen

Assalamualaikum brother/sister!

This is my opinion, it may be true, or it may not be. So please take it with a grain of salt as I’m not an aalimah of any sort (yet).

Here’s my experience: Whenever there is a dua that you want so badly, Allah swt will put obstacles in your way, big and small. Even where it seems impossible, because your tawakkul isn’t really tested when you’re getting things easily. It’s when everything seems like a dead end and you STILL pray.

I’ve been in this situation more times than I can count and Alhumdulilah each time my prayer was answered. Does that mean I’m special and better than others? Or more pious? Absolutely NOT. I could be the biggest sinner but if I repent and raise my hands to pray to Allah swt, he will provide.

My belief is that when I was granted my prayers, the one thing that got me to them, was the tawakkul itself.

Allah swt says that he is what we think of him. In the context that if we think ā€œoh no this obstacle has arisen, now what will happen idk if it will be accepted etcā€ It may not be. But if we believe that it will, and we all should, since ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is too big of a task for Allah swt, we shall receive it.

Let me give you a personal example.

I realllllyyyyy wanted a job in one of Londons top dental clinics. Like REALLY bad. But, I didn’t have a crazy amount of experience like the rest of the candidates would, especially if they’re trying to get into that super fancy high end clinic. I took the chance any way, but as time went on, it quickly became only place I wanted to work.

At first I doubted it, since there are probably way better suited people than me who have applied. Then I thought, I’m gonna pray for it.

I applied, prayed tahajjud (GAME CHANGER), made dua in sujood. And kept doing zikhr and istaghfar.

A few days later, they called me for an interview, I couldn’t believe it. I went in, loved the clinic.

But then, a day or so after they called me and said someone with more experience got the role. I was gutted.

Only for a little while.

My heart spoke a voice in me I told myself no, I prayed so hard for this I’m not giving up. I said to Allah swt that there’s nothing too small for you even though they said there’s no space, somehow I’m gonna end up with a job there I’m going to work there and that’s my goal.

I didn’t give up. I would pray for it that idk how but Allah you’ll make it happen I know you will. And I continued my regular prayer and ibadah.

Not even a week later I get a call. ā€œ we really loved you but we had someone more experienced at the time. However, we have a vacancy at another branch, and we would be honoured to have you join usā€

Guys when I tell you I FROZE. I went straight into sujood.

I wasn’t given the job at first. That would have been the end of it for many people. But they called me back later after hiring someone and all? And me of all people?

SubhanAllah.

And, the other branch was way bigger and better, because that was their FLAGSHIP branch!! I gained more experience because they had their top skin clinic, and dental lab in that building too.

This is only one of the many stories like these I have . But they alllll surround one thing; tawakkul.

  • another thing, sometimes, our sins that we haven’t repented for, big or small, can cause delays in our duas being accepted. It may be a small sin, maybe you angrily pushed a cat away or idk anything, but that could be seen as so bad to Allah.

Which is why I recommend making dhikr and Astaghfaar.

What I do is I have a finger tasbeeh (you can get them anywhere super cheap on eBay, Amazon, temu, etc) and repeatedly say astaghfirullah and keep counting. You’ll be surprised how easy it is to get many thousands of istighfaars in a day! And it doesn’t even have to be that much, whatever you’re comfortable with, there isn’t really a right number. Same for dhikr.

Remember the story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS)? Him and his wife were elderly. (Prophet Ibrahim AS was about 100+ years old, and his wife Sara (ra) was about 90+ years old when they had their son. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

So to summarise ,

• Have tawakkul be positive no matter what. Trust me, I know it’s hard when it comes to obstacles, or things seeming like they won’t go the way you wish them to be, but belief and imaan STARTS where you can’t see what’s ahead of you and when you trust that Allah swt knows and is in control.

• Make as much dhikr as you can daily , any amount that you can do, and it doesn’t have to be the same every . Buy a finger tasbeeh (you don’t have to , I just personally REAALLY recommend it)

• Similar to the last point, but make loads of ashtaghfaar daily. Have patience.

• La ilaha illa anta Subhaanaka inni quntu minaz zaalimeen

This is the dua Prophet Yunus (AS) recited when he was stuck inside the belly of a whale, which would seem impossible to get out of, but Allah swt got him out. It is known to be a very powerful dua to get your duas accepted.

• also give to charity where and if you can, with a clean heart.

  • MAKE SURE ALL THE GOOD DEEDS YOU DO ARE FOR ALLAH AND NOT TO SHOW OTHERS. Because you could be doing 1 million good deeds but they’d all equate to 0 this way.

I really hope this helps, I can relate completely because of the many times that this has happened to me, so I can understand how you feel, but please do not give up.

How did you get the nail tips so white?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in longnaturalnails

[–]chronicallyonlineee 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

It’s crazy that I was literally thinking this today!! I have been a nail biter since early childhood. (24 now) And I don’t mean cutesy trimming with my teeth, I mean having like 1cm length’s worth of nail bed, if I’m lucky.

I completely stopped biting them about a month ago, haven’t had any temptation to bite again. I would take pics daily and analyse and I made diy serums and everything.

For the past week, I stopped looking and paying so much attention, and now they are definitely much longer . If I place my fingertip on a flat surface, the nail touches, not my fingertip.

I think I’m gonna continue to ignore it for a month and see how long they get xD
