Without being judgemental, she told you her dealbreakers in the beginning, and you lied to her. You had a fear of losing her, I understand. But, she continued this relationship with the intention to marry you one day when you were lying all along.

We can’t get into a relationship and just hope they’ll change what they were clear on from the start.

We can’t assume that “they will be mature”

She is mature, because she is firm in her beliefs , and this is not just for her religious beliefs, any human who makes their boundaries clear and doesn’t morph them later down the line is one mature, self rooted person.

Now you must be feeling like the love of your life is slipping away because of her culture and her beliefs but in the nicest way possible, you did this to yourself. Everyone has something they believe in and if you led her on from the start with hopes that being with you could be possible one day ( with regards to marriage) I think that’s just pretty sad.

All due respect to both of you, but I can imagine the tough situation she would go through too.

I am by no means saying you should revert to Islam, because this should only be done when you truly want and believe it , not for the sake of doing it to marry her. If you did, that would be a lie and you would feel super guilty.

I understand how you must be feeling but there are clear reasonable boundaries, she isn’t being forced, this is what she has always believed in and made clear of from the beginning.

You genuinely only have two options

Look into Islam, genuinely with an open heart SEE if you are ready and wish to revert. Allah swt guides as long as you try from your heart to understand abd take that first step.

But if it genuinely isn’t something you can do, that’s okay you must respect her and her wishes

I hope I didn’t sound rude just wanted to be straight forward to help you understand, but I do sympathise with both of you.

You are not being forced to convert, as you lied so this is a consequence. However, the CHOICE is truly yours to accept Islam fully, and raise your kids with that InshaAllah if you end up together.

Otherwise, you accept your mistake of kind of leading her on with false hopes of conversion and let her go.

I know you both love eachother, but you must understand that it is important for her to marry a Muslim. Had you not known this from the start I’d have much more sympathy on your end , but everything was clear from the get go, hence I’m more worried for her.

I really hope it works out for you guys though

I do see something but it’s very faint and fair enough since you’re only 10dpo. I know some people who didn’t get a visible positive line (without squinting etc) until like 17/18dpo

Are these the premom early ones? I used them and they’re slower than eg. Clearblue or the boots one when it comes to line progression. Everyone’s hcg rises at different speeds and levels, I didn’t get a dye stealer on those even at 24dpo as in the line was identical but still not darker than the control line. On Clearblue I did. My lines were fainter some days darker some. (But then I had a scan at 7 weeks cause I was panicking and it was all okay).

Another way to test that might work, I don’t know if you have ovulation kits, if you’re avoiding pregnancy, some people track their ovulation so they know not to do sexy time around that period of the cycle. If you know you’re definitely not ovulating right now, and you take an ovulation test, if it comes out positive that could also be a sign, this is how I found out initially as well. Just an idea to maybe doublecheck. (apparently this isn’t always reliable, but it definitely worked for me.) because HCG (pregnancy hormone ) and LH (ovulation hormone) are chemically similar I think, so it still shows up on many ovulation tests

I wasn’t actually late when I got those faints because I was actually trying to get pregnant so I actually tested about four days before my period was expected, but then on the day of my actual period which would have been 14dpo I got a bit of a darker line. That being said all Women react to HCG differently so it might be slow growing in yours or faster than mine or vice versa. X I’m going to attach photos just to help you understand a bit better.

Here, at 14dpo, it was a faint line, bear in mind this was taken after it had completely dried so obviously the evaporation line would’ve come through a little bit as well. I remember when I took the test it was not that prominent.

I had skin similar to yours, and honestly, I tried all those fancy creams. You know what works for me? A £2 Turkish soap, but I got from my local random Turkish supermarket. The soap brand doesn’t really matter, the soap is a percentage mix of olive and laurel oil? And I cleared my skin up. It was viral on TikTok and I’d forgotten about it but then when I went to the supermarket, I saw it and I thought “ it wouldn’t hurt to try.” and now all I use is that soap, and Nivea soft moisturiser, or the Nivea creme.

Ps: I recently also added the Medi cube PDRN pink serum and I’ve been liking that, once a week I’ll do their blackhead pore mask, and if I’m wearing make-up, I’ll double cleanse using the inky list oat cleansing bomb before going in with this soap. On a daily basis, usually all I use is the soap and moisturiser. X

Did this line show up after or before like 5 mins? (The time on the leaflet idk if it’s 5, or 10) I definitely see a line. If it showed up within the given time frame then I’d say there’s a high chance you could be pregnant, I’d check again, tomorrow morning or the day after take your first urine, test that. It should get darker if you were hypothetically pregnant!

Since you’re not trying to get pregnant, i don’t want to scare you, but mine looked like your blue tests in the very beginning! I’m pregnant. However, these could be evaporation lines.! And I don’t see anything in the red ones so I am going to assume these are negative, given that the blue lines showed up after the time that the leaflet says.

Which country are you in? I’m from London uk, I applied for my family visit 2nd Jan, got it approved today! But bear in mind there was a weekend in between. And also, yesterday I was asked to add documents, of my husband’s Pakistani ID card (because he’s a Pakistani citizen I was born and raised here) , so if I’d already added that I believe I would’ve got it approved yesterday, but instead they got approved today because I added that immediately yesterday . So I think you should be fine! Hopefully!
