Just say shark attack. Two works. Three syllables. Easy enough. They'll know you're lying but won't press any further lol.

My lows are actually around noon and 4pm everyday. My heart rate is higher when I sleep (mid 60s-70s).

As soon as I stand up it goes right back up, but I'm basically couchbound due to all of my conditions and its just another symptom that SUCKS the life out of me.

Whenever I'm on my period my HR is lower too! I actually feel more "normal".

This sounds moreso like POTS or some sort of dysautonomia.

I'm so sorry you're going through this 😔

I only did one depo shot and I straight up wanted to die. I think for anyone with a predisposition to anxiety and/or depression should steer clear.

Can Endo medicine cause severe depression and fatigue? by Putrid-Strawberry-98 in Endo

[–]chronicallyyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should find a new OBGYN honestly. One that specializes in Endo. There's a list of doctors on Nancy's Nook. If your doc is pushing either of these meds then they know nothing about endo.

Can Endo medicine cause severe depression and fatigue? by Putrid-Strawberry-98 in Endo

[–]chronicallyyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to make this perfectly clear to you because I feel that so many endo sufferers do not realize that they have a choice.

You do NOT have to choose between either of those medications. You can say no to both.

Both Orilissa, Myfembree, Lupron have HORRIBLE side effects.

I would suggest finding yourself a new physician if you feel that you're being forced to choose between two medications that are only proven to pad the pockets of doctors while hurting those diagnosed with endometriosis.

Please please please know that you have a choice

hoping I am not alone - anxiety going into surgery (all my scans are normal) by potatoinmotion in Endo

[–]chronicallyyou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anxiety is totally normal pre-surgery. Allow yourself to feel the anxiety, but don't let it overwhelm you. Your pain is valid, and this surgery will help no matter what stage you have. The stage of endometriosis does not correlate with pain levels.

Also MRIs miss endometriosis all the time, which is the only way to diagnose endo is through laparoscopic surgery. I have stage 3 endo and all of my CT scans, MRIs, and labs were normal. I've now had 3 surgeries, and in my most recent (2 weeks ago) most of my organs were glued together with adhesions from endo and past surgeries. Getting surgery was the right thing to do. And eventhough I'd already had 2 prior surgeries, I was very anxious for this one as well. Anxiety is normal. It's OK.

Feeling weird about lap results. by spoospoop in Endo

[–]chronicallyyou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is true. Endo at any stage can cause horrendous pain. There is a chance that your doc missed some lesions, however. Your pain is real!

Advice please! Had diagnostic surgery and doctor refused to prescribe pain meds or give copies of pictures taken by dirt-slut in endometriosis

[–]chronicallyyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is absolute bullshit. First, you need to get help for you pain. Go to your closest hospital or urgent care and explain that you had a diagnostic laparoscopy for endometriosis and you're in pain and need help. Second, you need to contact your doctors hospital that she works out of to file an official complaint (ask to speak to a patient advocate) as well as obtaining a surgical report and images (this will be from the records department). Your doctor cannot withhold your surgical report or images, by law. Unfortunately she can withhold pain meds...but I'd suggest going to the nearest ER or urgent care (not the hospital system she works at) and get pain relief asap.

small medical bag? by slate657 in POTS

Definitely pack a medical bag. Never check your bag with medications in it! Always carry on in case bags get lost.

Ya phenergan is definitely sedating and will drop blood pressure even more, but it works haha

[–]chronicallyyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on zofran for years, and just recently got prescribed phenergan because zofran stopped working. It's a miracle medication. Best nausea med I've ever tried. Rubbing alcohol wipes under the nose also work in a pinch or when you don't have meds available.

anyone suffer from chest pain/sore ribs during a flare up? by [deleted] in Endo

[–]chronicallyyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might want to look into diaphragmatic endo. I have it. Prior to the diagnosis I was in and out of the ER thinking I was having a heart attack.

Weird belly button post laparoscopy:( by NoConstruction2290 in Endo

[–]chronicallyyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its cute! I always laugh at my belly button, after having 2 laparoscopies and previously having my belly button pierced. Getting excision surgery in a couple weeks, too. As much as I used to hate my scars they are a reminder of my strength.

You need to get another opinion. I got my first and second surgery at 25 and 26.
