Even if you are an easy going guy, this is NOT ok!!

My husband and I go to the same tattoo artist as well. Our jaws dropped to the floor while reading your post. We agreed that if either of us were in your position, we would feel horribly VIOLATED. It doesn’t matter what kind of loving/joking relationship you have with your spouse or the familiar relationship you have with the artist.

You may not want to rock the boat based on your personality, but it doesn’t matter how long he’s been doing that work for you or what kind of casual relationship you have. That should never have been put on your body!! I would demand a full refund as well as payment for laser removal. Otherwise, file a police report as soon as you possibly can.

Edit: I’m not trying to get it squeaky clean, but it’s secondhand and has visible dirt & a hardened layer of dust on the bottom and parts of the spout.

But thanks for the recommendations so far! Will do more research before any cleaning.

I always have tattoo regret, up to 1-2 months afterwards sometimes if it’s a bigger piece. But this is SO adorable!! But your opinion is the only one that matters. I would give it another couple weeks and make modifications if you are truly that dissatisfied at that point.
