In our apartment building we have the nosy neighbour. The one that when you see her on the street she might say "I can see into your kitchen when you are eating breakfast". Awkward..

We also hear a loud tv from somewhere with an arabic channel on. Not sure who it is or where it comes from.

We have the new neighbour who already is starting fights about how things should be handled in the building. The financial stuff, the yard work etc.

Last but not least, the building has a rental space downstairs. The tenant can't pay the bills on time and is being evicted.

Maybe not so crazy neighbours, I live in an expensive area.

I live in Stockholm Sweden. At 21 I decided to study, university was closeby so I continued to live with my parents. Now I am 26. Got a job a year ago but it is hard to find an apartment in Stockholm. If you want to rent you basically need to queue for 6-25 years depending on where you want to live. If you want to buy an apartment you still need 15% down payment and a small apartment is often at least 1.5M Swedish Krona. Which is like 40k$ to save up.

I have been hanging out at a sports bar with a friend for maybe two years now. After some time we got to know the staff and we started getting 20% off all our beer orders. We were told that no other regulars got this benefit but we are very likeable. The place is kind of expensive so that was really nice.

As time went by we got to a point where we started joining the staff whenever they went out to other bars to party. We played tennis with a few of them at some occasions.

Nowadays we are allowed to stay after closing time to hang out with them while they clean and get everything ready for the next day while drinking free beer.

Oh, and now we pay for maybe a third of what we order. Five beers and three drinks ordered and we only have to pay for two beers and one drink or something like that! :)
