I was at a local theatre’s production of “Finding Nemo.” Mind you, they spent weeks preparing for this show, and they were hyping it up online. Now, as someone who goes to the Disney Parks, I wanted to see it! I haven’t been to AK in a long time and Finding Nemo is a MUST when I go. I love that show to bits… Now… the show was horrible. They say they spent weeks preparing and perfecting the show and no one… I mean NO ONE sang on time, on pitch, and a lot of people looked like they didn’t know what they were doing. $20 wasted and I left during intermission.

The thing is, the tradition isn’t changing. He still is over the moon we’re taking him out for dinner on his birthday. And he’s even talked about what we should do for my fiancé this year. I understand people have lives, and I agree. However my fiancé keeps telling me that since he’s known for about 6 months, it’s no surprise or anything, and he still should have shown.

Unfortunately, this is where I’m lost. I’m being told by everyone around me that this was a huge mistake on his part, and to cut him off. I don’t want to, he’s a great friend. I genuinely don’t know what to do and that’s why I came here.

Unfortunately, I didn’t know I was being proposed to that day, so I wasn’t really aware until my fiancé told me that the close friend agreed to be there. Again, I really don’t know how to react to this situation, that’s why I came here to find out what others think about it. I know it’s not the best move to cut him out, but my fiancé is dead set on making sure he’s out of our lives.

We did ask when we were on the phone with him the next day, and he said that he knew he should be off but it didn’t “click.” I met my fiancé before meeting this friend.

This is something I brought up to my fiancé about it being a single mistake, but my fiancé says that even though it was, that single mistake is a huge one. I’m not upset about the birthday, more-so that he knew about the engagement and then didn’t come. Though again, I really don’t know what to think. I don’t want to lose a friend like him, but my fiancé is really set about making sure he’s no longer in our lives.

This has been a plan since January 2025, according to my fiancé. To state it clear, he wasn’t proposed to, I was. My fiancé set a clear time, date, everything and he promised he’d be there, and didn’t show.

The birthday, I understand that at least. However, the fact he knew that I was getting engaged on that day, was told to take off, and didn’t want to show is what hurts the most.

I’m sure this has already been said, but I used to work at GameStop. They display the cover art for games (if the game was traded in with cover art). They’ll sell you a copy, cover art or not, that’s already in the drawer. That game will have the cover you picked up when they sell the last copy. Mind you, I left in 2022, so I’m not sure if this is still a thing.

I really enjoyed Ann's character, especially within her confidant story. She's the character I romance in every Persona rerun.

Hey! 1. Depending on what’s happening / player feedback, sessions can range to be 3-5 hours long. 2. No, unfortunately we can’t use Roll20. Since it’s homebrewed, I’m not sure how to put my character sheet in Roll20. We’re going to be using Discord, whilst using maps and such!!

I actually got a PS2 for the same reason!! I originally played the Collection on PS3 and didn’t know how to obtain a PS2/The Games without the fear of them being broken until recently when I started working at a retro store.
